I get it you're a Starwars fan..you even have a quote for it. I love SW also, and I do want this game...but can you honestly not see how purchasing this game reinforces the stance/model EA has taken? Buy purchasing the game you are saying it's okay to do this kind of crap.

You are 100% correct, it isn't new...what is new is the LEVEL this is at now. IMO it has gone way to far.

Not really, the game itself is still completely playable without the DLC and loot crates and other in game investments. Arguably the point is, the folk that pay for the base game aren't doing anything other than the normal. Buying the game does not validate EA's monetisation, not one bit. Buying the in-game shit does that.

Look this is what its gonna be and is what it is. Im not a fan of the Youtube screamers but this is spot on and something nobody should accept. Honestly, you shouldn't, stay far far away from this game if you care about gaming in the slightest.

Keep in mind this is a very recent attempt at maximizing profits and as EA says, they are 'fine tuning'. Destroy the business case RIGHT NOW, or suffer for the next ten years.

Note also that you only need, and this is the business case, a ONE percent share of the playerbase going big on loot crates. This is why you need to hurt the actual game sale and boycot this POS entirely. I urge you.

I watched some videos and man, they did nail the atmosphere on this one. I can't remember the map name but it had this effect where the leaves were swirling around, gotta give the devs/artists credit for that. It's the little details.

As always. EA never fails when it comes to releasing a half finished game. BF3, BF4 and even BF1 were no exceptions to this.

I have no beef with you Star Wars lovers, but please for the love of all that is holy. Do not buy this game... Do not reward EA for releasing utter bullshit. Do not support EA in their Anti-consumer activities while they exploit the star wars fan base with their loot boxes.... Just dont..... Go buy a massive Star Wars wall scroll to purge your desires. you'd probably get more value for money from that wall scroll and at least it doesnt come with microtransactions and isnt pay to win...

Fixed it for ya. No, seriously, I think the complaints are legit if it feels a bit skewed toward spendthrifts. In some games micro trans has been a non issue for me, but in others I can see why many complain about it.
