I'll be short.
If you frequently visit this subforum, you've probably noticed that a sticky thread Guide: The Art of Soldering has been abandoned a long time ago.
I have finally moved to my new office, which means I can switch from wasting spare time on videogames to finishing all of my projects which I have been putting on the backburner for months or even years. One of those projects was the idea of revamping the soldering tutorial and maybe expanding this subforum with some useful DIY stuff and at least some basic hardware-level repair tips for those in need.
I've added a poll to this thread and if I get enough motivation (e.g. "Yes" votes, comments with ideas and suggestions, funny GIFs), then I will definitely do it in the nearest future.
Peace and cupcakes.
Sincerely yours, Silentbogo.
P.S. A little demotivational poster...
