Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition

The is the Bioware Neverwinter Nights, not Cryptic's Neverwinter MMO (or the AOL one for that matter). Fancy graphics effects will be added. Compatibility with old mods will be retained. So cheers to that. Maybe one day we'll even get a Neverwinter Nights 3, but until then...

No release date at the moment though.

me too, as much as i love Divinity Original Sin the AI pull of too much stupid crap.

Used to run a server back in the day with modded original campaign, hopefully MOTB will be multiplayer this time by default.

YESSSS I didnt say anything because I wasnt sure anyone would understand but I have physical copies of gold platinum and diamond and a zip file of all the sweet campaigns I DLd from NWN vault. Glad im not the only one.

Nice, will buy.

Haven't pulled it out in a long long time so my memory of it is hazy. Unlike the StarCraft remaster where I know what's coming next, I anticipate some nostalgic surprises with this one.

Too bad there probably won't be a resurgence (or migration) of the modding efforts for this. Let alone from Bioware themselves (that version of the company is definitely long dead.. even before the rest of the good parts of it died).

When was the last time we had a real Dungeons and Dragons game based on Forgotten Realms universe? Pillars of Eternity? WTF is going on with the staling of this genre and why on earth do these piece of manure "Neverwinter MMOs" come out in the first place like they have anything to do with greatness of the real game?

If NWN Enchanced Edition will treat the game the same way Baldur's Gate and IceWind Dale Enchanced Editions did, than this is great news!
