Lian Li announced that it is resurrecting the LanCool brand of gaming PC cases. LanCool branded cases are differentiated from the main Lian Li series in typically being of a lower cost, having more steel in place of aluminium, and breaking away from the restrained and minimalist style Lian Li is known for. LanCool cases compete with some of the more mainstream ATX mid-tower and micro-ATX tower-type cases. With the advent of RGB multi-color LED lighting, tempered glass, and horizontally-partitioned designs, Lian Li probably sees a market in resurrecting a new gaming PC case line without diluting the Lian Li identity. The first LanCool cases post its resurrection, will be shown off at the 2018 International CES, which begins later this week. Below are some of LanCool's cases that are nearly a decade old. If they look contemporary today, they would have looked ahead of their time back then.

Lancool cases were quite decent and priced very reasonably. Its a good news and hoping lian-li brings some good cases(without falling into trap of stupid trends)

Sadly, they already are falling for trends; Alpha 550 for example.

True but after getting bad review, I just hope they take the feedback and improve on it for future products. Also with Alpha range I was surprised that Lian-Li went with SS over Aluminium for building their cases.

Ah, the good old days. Those boards were ugly but I liked them for whatever reason.
