Thermaltake, a leading premium gaming tower manufacturer, announced the immediate availability of the new Thermaltake View 91 Tempered Glass RGB Edition Super Tower Chassis at CES 2018 at the Venetian Hotel Veronese 2402 Suite from January 9th (Tue) to 12th (Fri). Boasting the trio huge 5mm thick tempered glass panels for internal components show-off, the View 91 TG RGB delivers a sleek look to complement its excellent cooling.

Apart from the four built-in 140mm Riing Plus LED RGB Fans, which offer patented 16.8 million colors LED ring, 12 single controllable LEDs, and are digitally PWM controlled through the patented Riing Plus RGB Software, the View 91 TG RGB can accommodate up to two large 200mm fans on top, three 140mm fans at the bottom, while there is still space for up to six 200mm fans inside the enclosure. Speaking of hardware support, this XL-ATX super tower is engineered as a high-end workstation to include a USB 3.1 Type-C port for extra data transfer speed, and has room for up to twelve 3.5"/2.5" HDDs plus "10+2" expansion slots. It supports CPU coolers up to 200mm in height, VGA lengths up to 600mm, and PSU sizes up to 220mm in length, and the latest AIO/DIY liquid cooling solutions.

Other features that smooth out user gaming experience include the side panel swing-open design for easy and full access to the build, the quick-release bar design of the fan mount bracket for instant fan removal/reattachment, and the magnetic dust filters for clean air intake. The View 91 TG RGB is designed to pack performance and expandability into a 16.8 million-color RGB-beautifully-imbued case design to make PC enthusiasts' next rig like no other.

And it'll only cost about a billion bucks.

I like the design of this case (particularly the fact it has 6 drive bays) but I would like it better if it wasn't so large. Ideally I'd like this case, without the glass and blingy fans, slimmed down to standard ATX size (7 + 2 PCI slots), and with a PSU cover that would allow for some additional 2.5" drive mounting spots. Basically, keep the case's width the same, but drop the height quite a bit.

Looking at the front of the case, there is quite a large "dead zone" on the right, obviously to accommodate the drive mountings behind the motherboard - it would be great if Thermaltake would add a pair of vertically-mounted 5.25" bays there for those of us who still have those devices. These bays would be removable and would require you to sacrifice one of the 3.5" drive mounts closest to the front of the chassis - so worst case, you can still mount 4x 3.5" drives (and 2x 2.5" drives with my suggested PSU shroud).

This 5.25" bay idea probably isn't feasible for this chassis (or indeed any that use tempered glass), but I'm hoping TT will release a more standard/understated version (hopefully a new Core line) with the standard plastic front, which would allow for standard push-out bay covers.

I bet you touch TV screens too. I always see finger and hand prints on my TV from my daughter, she's five years old.

... you do understand that you have to touch the case to use it, right?

That is why you were rubber gloves while working on cases like this.

This would be a decent NAS case.

No I don't understand. You build it and when you're done putting it where it will stay you wipe it down and like magic there are no finger prints on it anymore.

Honestly like what they did with the 3.5" drives. It's actually quite aesthetically pleasing.

Yeah, that does look really good but I would need 3.5'' drives to take advantage. I don't have a single one in any of my 4 machines.
