NVIDIA today released the latest update to its GeForce software. Version 390.77 WHQL drivers come game-ready for four of the week's hottest game releases, including "Metal Gear Survive," "Black Desert Online," "Kingdom Come: Deliverance," and "War Thunder." It adds or updates SLI profiles for "DiRT 4," "Hot Lava," "Metal Gear Survive," and " Ode." The drivers address several issues specific to Windows 10, such as display corruption/blanking when, for example, multiple displays are connected to a GTX 780 Ti SLI setup; G-Sync displays connected to TITAN V with its memory being overclocked; or a BSOD crash when "Gears of War 4" on GeForce 10-series GPUs. Grab the drivers from the links below.

  • [Neverwinter Nights]: Some graphics are missing. [2024453]
  • [Optimus Notebook]: GeForce Experience may launch with a black screen. [2009290]
  • [3DMark]: There is a drop in the benchmark performance. [2042217]
  • [GeForce GTX 1080][G-SYNC]: Performance issues occurred with G-SYNC windowed mode enabled. [2032623]
  • [GeForce GTX 1070 Ti][NVIDIA Control Panel]: The NVIDIA Control Panel->Output Dynamic Range setting does not persist but switches from Full to Limited after rebooting the system. [200378878]
Windows 10 Issues
  • [NVIDIA TITAN V][G-Sync]: G-Sync displays may go blank when switching between different overclocked memory clocks multiple times. [200361272]

Release notes also reveal experimental OpenCL 2.0 support

Experimental OpenCL 2.0 Features

Select features in OpenCL 2.0 are available in the driver for evaluation purposes only. The following are the features as well as a description of known issues with these features in the driver:

Device side enqueue

The current implementation is limited to 64-bit platforms only.

OpenCL 2.0 allows kernels to be enqueued with global_work_size larger than the compute capability of the NVIDIA GPU. The current implementation supports only combinations of global_work_size and local_work_size that are within the compute capability of the NVIDIA GPU.
The maximum supported CUDA grid and block size of NVIDIA GPUs is available at http://docs.nvidia.com/cuda/cuda-c-programming-guide/index.html#compute-capabilities
For a given grid dimension, the global_work_size can be determined by CUDA grid size x CUDA block size.

For executing kernels (whether from the host or the device), OpenCL 2.0 supports non-uniform ND-ranges where global_work_size does not need to be divisible by the local_work_size.
This capability is not yet supported in the NVIDIA driver, and therefore not supported for device side kernel enqueues.

EDIT:
the feature has been already there since a while, i should read manuals more often.

How is War thunder a new release ?

How is War thunder a new release ?

Same question here !! on top of that there are no new contents in WT regarding graphics or engine update , and as a regular player this game is stalled in the graphics , effects aspects .

EDIT : As for WT it's about "shadowplay-highlights" : aka another useless feature in GE that still require a log-in ....

That reminds me, I saw a player named @yotano211 in War Thunder yesterday (I was "Oslovian"). In my awe of coming face to face with a fellow Techpoweruper, he killed me before I could get a screenshot.

Bastard. Please tell me it wasn't really you. :P

So... they fixed it only for GTX 1070 Ti users? What? It's happening to me with GTX 1060. Will see later today when I get a chance to install the driver.
