I am no expert in counterfeit items, but such an old card like the 3650 it's rare to be new. I'd be on the fence, but I believe that you can order the card and if it is a knockoff, you can ask for a refund.

It looks like Palit but what is that small 4-pin power supply connector used to power it ? ( Usually it is a large molex ). Is it floppy disk power connector ?

Yes old cards circa 2003 used these floppy disc connectors. This was even true for high end cards like the 9800 Pro which I have. These connectors were pretty crappy and could easily burn out due to a poor connection and the amount of current that they carried.

I believe that's a hell of a disappointment. A 9550, isn't that great, when compared with the 3650, so... Search for other sellers, with more belivable cards. Probably that's the solucion to this topic. Avoid Chinese Knockoffs!

I found the origin card:
  • The "ATI"-sticker is placed on top of that "DC power"-sticker. Is this OEM-card China ?
  • Other USA+Europe 3650s like: 3D club HD3650 has different components ?

The Chinese ones look like quality cards with newer "solid capacitors" and such...
They offer all kinds of AGP cards like new: Geforce 7950GT, HD4670 and such all kinds of...

Western people on Ebay pay crazy money from those used "vintage" ones when you can get them from China at their real value.:kookoo:20-40$/€ shipping included.

so far what you have shown is still in my eyes dubious
of those 3 >>> all have different memory AND SPECS
one has 256mb in spec but claims 512mb
another claims 512mb
now this one with 1 gb ( OR IS IT 512MB ??? )
i like others suspect they are fraud/knock off's

Unscrupeless Sellers do exploit western market and sell knock off's ( its a known fact).

IF YOU BUY BE PREPARED TO BE RIPPED OFF WITH LITTLE CHANCE OF A REFUND
ITS YOUR RISK TO TAKE. ( WE HAVE TRIED TO WARN YOU )

Currently HD3650 go for about £35 and HD4670 AGP go for about £45 to £50 on UK Ebay when you can find them.

yes there is still quite a high demand for these High end retro AGP Cards

( i got a sapphire HD3650 about a year ago for £40 for my Retro Rig wanted a AGP HD4670 but kept being Outbid :(
was a nice upgrade from a ATI 9800SE AIW which i still have in retail packaging)

edit user33331 PM me and i will give you ebay link for HD4670 AGP 0 Bids and base price of £9.99

I might go with the China AGP cards. They are still new and all.
+ USA, EU Ebay is full of old >10 year old almost "chop shop" cards that are self repair soldered, overclocked and unreliable (Austin Power's "Village bicycle"-cards). Also people store and handle cards poorly especially 8-15 yo. childrens or their mothers .

( One time I got an Xbox360 controller from England and it had different colored covers and insides so the insides were taken from a another older controller. It was horrible frankestein controller which had parts from multiple controllers. The seller had a few of them for sell. It turned out to be one of those foreign "bazaar" fix shops. I usually boycott England's electronics because of those repair shop sellers. )

Can't be worse than this.
You do realize that is a free gfx right there and it's a GTX 650...
It's sold under the PayPal guarantee...
You prove they intentionally mislead you and PayPal refunds you your purchase price...
That's a 90 day turn around but it's always fun to scam the scammer... BTW you can find that same model for $33 shipped.. Lol
On Newegg it's sold as the Corn Nvidia GTX 650ti

Reading through this thread reminds me of trying to explain the Internet and search results when you're looking for something ,to one of my kids.

My daughter would ask me to get a certain mod for Minecraft ,so I'd look for it in the appropriate areas , i.e. safe places that you can trust for the most part. And sometimes I wouldn't be able to find one at a legitimate website. So what she would do is just search it on google, and of course you're going to get results (so she would say " see , i found it here"). I mean if you typed in "rainbow pony that dispenses money and candy canes" you'd likely find search results. The hard part was explaining to her, that you can't trust every search result you find, and there are people out there that will gladly say they have anything you want ,if it gets you to their site or to click their link. This thread reminds me of that struggle:rolleyes:

I don't mean it in a offensive way, I just found it funny as I just went through this not very long ago

Ok. I bought a used Sapphire HD3650 AGP(512 DDR3) for total 15€ from a local online seller. I read a review that it's 50mm diameter original fan is loud up to 40dB and heat sink is only aluminium.

Then looked also for 3rd party HSFs: ARCTIC's Accelero L2 but it is huge takes 3 PCIs below and is only made of aluminium no copper at all.
  • Which cards have the same mounting than HD3650 so I could find a broken donor card for the HSF hopefully a copper one ?
Here is a googled photo of Accelero L2's depth:

Only other 3650s, fyi other arctic coolers are bulky, if you are worried about size get a aio and learn how to mount it. This card is very old now

Will the 10€ HD4670 PCI-E heat sink fan=HSF fit the HD3650 AGP ?
  • Similar as ARCTIC's Accelero L2 but smaller in depth so this HSF saves PCI-slots.

The best part about that was not fake 1 GB 192 bit interface, but ''graphics card FOR NVIDIA GeForce''...
