Fitting in an ultra slim design, with a 21.5 inches Full HD display, almost without edges, the ARCHOS Vision 215 embeds the essential components of a PC, a keyboard and a mouse, a complete connectivity set, and the Home edition of Microsoft Windows 10. This all-in-one PC comes in elegant design, easy to install at the heart of a home to be enjoyed by all members of the household, in order to use online services, interact with their favorite content, texts, music tracks, photos, videos or to achieve main tasks for school or the office. Unveiled at the MWC 2018 (Hall 6 - Stand B60), the ARCHOS Vision 215 will be available from May 2018, priced at 299.99 € all taxes included.

In its sleek design, less than 7 mm thick, the ARCHOS Vision 215 fits easily into any home. Space saver, with its tilting screen, it finds its place anywhere in the house, and becomes a real entertainment platform, in the living room, kitchen or bedroom. Featuring a Full HD 21.5-inch screen, almost borderless, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels in 16:9, combined with the Intel HD Graphics 400 graphics, it displays an ideal surface, realistic and bright colors to view photos and videos or read texts, alone or in a group.

The ARCHOS Vision 215 packs the Intel Atom x5-Z8350 quad core processor, clocking up to 1.92 GHz, backed by 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of eMMc internal storage capacity, expandable up to 256GB thanks to its compatibility with any 2.5-inch SATA hard drive and its Micro SD card slot. This configuration ensures energy efficiency and fluidity, largely sufficient to surf the web, enjoy light multimedia activities and everyday office uses.

It offers a complete set of connectors, conveniently placed on the back and / or the foot of the screen: 5 USB ports, 1 HDMI output, Bluetooth, LAN, WiFi, 1 audio jack. It comes with a keyboard and a mouse, as well as two speakers.

Finally, the ARCHOS Vision 215 runs Microsoft Windows 10, in its Home 64-bit release, which provides the essentials for pleasant Internet, multimedia and office experiences.

Sneak previewed at the MWC 2018, the ARCHOS Vision will be available from May 2018 across Europe at a price starting at 299.99 € all taxes included.

Aesthetically looks nice but specs wise...eh. Price isn't too bad for what it is I suppose (hopefully screen is decent). But if it has an ethernet port and a VESA mount, I think I'd like something like this for my homelab just to show stats of my other servers (Grafana-like) while being an independent host.

I'd buy her a decent Chromebook. I think it would do everything she wants fine and the OS is a lot simpler/cleaner for someone just do general browsing, etc.

I thought Archos were long gone. Their tablets were never really good. Some were OK but that was it

This would be ideal for her I'd that's all she does?? The Atoms are great little chips and 4GB is just enough.
