Want to light up your performance-oriented but dull-looking SanAces? SilverStone may have the answer. The company rolled out the FG-122 and FG-142, ring-shaped fan-frames that you mount your fans through. The frames are lined with 24 RGB LEDs, which take input from a 4-pin RGB header. As you may have guessed from their model names, the FG-122 is designed for 120 mm fans, and the FG-142 for 140 mm. If you prefer not to pass bolts through the mount-holes, the frame also has an adhesive strip to latch onto your fan. The company didn't reveal pricing.

I like this idea better than RGB fans, since you can actually put this on a high quality non-LED one.

While I like the concept, the execution here is awful. The point of this is to make your PC look (subjectively) good, right? So why would you stick this fugly plastic dumpster fire onto your fans? I can guarantee that the profile of these frames doesn't match your fans' frames, and the white plastic makes it look cheap as all hell. Phanteks' Halos series does this way better.

Copying Phanteks Halos. Cute.

Also, Phantek's Halo's are NOT addressable which is very disappointing, although a modder does make Phantek's Halo style frames that are addressable here: https://www.jmmods.com/product-page/addressable-rgb-fan-frames

Why can't ALL addressable products just use the standard 3pin, 5V JST connector? That way, they can all work together. Same thing with Asus's addressable Header's on their motherboards....instead of just having a typical 3 pin male header on their board that would accept any 3pin female JST connector, they instead have this dumb 4pin minus 1 configuration on their header that requires asus's adapter....I hate that
