PNY Technologies, leading manufacturer and supplier of storage solutions, launches its new high-performance SSD, the CS900 960GB. The SSD with 960GB storage capacity is the latest addition to the PNY CS900 family and provides a low-cost entry into the world of fast flash drives. It provides fast data transfers of up to 535 MB/s read and up to 515 MB/s write speed.

The CS900 is ideal for those looking for an affordable entry-level model that still has fast transfer rates and memory, and far exceeds the performance of standard hard disk drives (HDDs), which are often built into PCs and laptops. The SSD CS900 enables short boot times, faster program launches and basically increased system performance.

Thanks to its shock-resistant housing and lightweight, the SSD is extremely durable and comparatively less susceptible to technical interference than a conventional HDD, resulting in fewer failures and avoiding potential data loss.

Oliver Talon, Gaming Product Manager at PNY EMEA says, "Storage technology has changed dramatically in no time. A few years ago it was unimaginable to develop a consumer-friendly SSD with almost one terabyte of memory. That's why we're proud to announce the newest addition to our CS900 family. The CS900 with 960GB meets today's requirement for large storage space and lightning-fast data transmission alike. "

So is this like it's little brothers: Phison PS3111-s11 controller and micron 3D-TLC nand?

This is a good price... For now... I see a good M2 2280 1tb going for $450....
I bet this is a bad price within 9 months...
Specially since ADATA is moving in on PNY's Dept store dominance.. Lol

I love it... M2 is dropping the price of these to acceptable levels..

PC Gamer just released an article with $38/120GB and $65/240GB on Amazon.
As an European, I've checked German site have same prices in €.
Seems like a 850 EVO killer. ;)

Not likely, this is low end Pny drive. Real Evo killer is Crucial mx500. But yeah samsung sata evos aren't very price competitive in Europe anymore.
