X2 is pleased to inform the new arrival of the PIRATE 1416 PC case. This microATX structured chassis is made out of 0.5 mm SPCC steel, all black coated inside and out enclosed by two tempered glass panels and one metal side panel. This new PC gamer case is a great solution for your entry level gaming system build with more than enough space for the assembly of your powerful hardware. It comes with a total up to three 3.5-inch SSD drives and four rear expansion PCI slots. The PIRATE 1416 is equipped with a separated PSU chamber and ample space for those long graphics cards (up to 320 mm length) and large CPU coolers (up to 150 mm height clearance). Already included are two multi-LED 120 mm red cooling fans, one on the rear and one in the front.

The PIRATE 1416 offers easy upkeep throughout the whole chassis with nice cable routing and the tool-free removal of the tempered glass panels. It offers convenient placement of Audio and USB connections for your plug and play gaming peripherals. Standard USB configuration includes one USB 2.0 port and one USB 3.0 port plus support for AC97/HD AUDIO. Show off your cool components, LED or RGB cooling and water or air coolers through the smoked tempered glass windows of the PIRATE 1416 PC gamer case by X2-gaming. This is getting ridiculous.

In less than a week, we get three cases with glass over the front fans and zero airflow. Did no one learn from the H500P?

This case trend needs to die.

It has side vents for the front face plate which facilitates airflow. Also a number of the cases that were recently featured with front glass had side air ventilation as well albeit difficult to see.

There are side vents on the front of the case. The fans arent completely covered....

Wat, no RGB? The whole purpose of air-blocking glass on front is to show off your RGB fans - but red LED fans? " (how retro!) Huge bolts retaining the glass side cover? Knock-out PCI covers? Thin and flexible steel chassis? No drive trays or brackets? (just screw holes in thin sheet metal). I'm pretty sure this is an old design from 20 years ago, with glass attached posthumously. I guess somebody had to recycle all those old Chinese beer cans.

I'll admit the case does look cheap.

At 420mm [16.5in] Tall, that's not the compact format?
IDK... why buy a 3-Slot Micro case and it more the size of a Mid-Tower feels like you're just losing 4 slots for nothing!

A Sharkoon S1000 is 400mm [15.75in]. A Coolermaster Silencio 352 is 378mm [14.9in]. Corsair Carbide Series 88R 378mm [14.9in].
