To mark the beginning of this new chapter in our story, I'm happy to announce that we are running a week-long sale on Steam. From now until next Monday, you can save 75% on our 3DMark, VRMark, and PCMark 10 benchmarks. Or save even more when you buy them together in our benchmark bundle.

Ive always wondered if it was actually worth buying into 3Dmark. Ive always avoided it as i dont switch out GPUs every other month to warrant such a purchase.

Wow, what a great deal! On second thought, I'm going to keep ignoring these as I have so far. And save 100%.

Benchmarking tool, especially for home user is kinda unimportant. so, discounted price is good. although it would be better if we can get it free (bundled) from purchasing high-end graphic cards. or from mainstream graphic cards but with limited features...

3DMark started out as freeware. Imho, it makes sense to lock benchmark automation behind a paywall, because those features are almost exclusively used by reviewers and other professionals. But when they start locking various settings behind the same paywall, is when I loose interest.
Also, did I mention how little sense does it make to have to download GB of data for a benchmark you use once in a blue moon (or less)? It's a frigging benchmark, it doesn't need GB of textures. To asses performance levels it can use ugly, generated textures.
