AMD Unveils Radeon RX Vega 56 Nano Graphics Card

AMD today unveiled the Radeon RX Vega 56 Nano, the spiritual successor to the disruptive high-end SFF graphics card, the Radeon R9 Nano. Unlike the R9 Nano, the RX Vega 56 Nano is an AIB (add-in board) partner effort, specifically by PowerColor. The card itself is a good inch longer than the R9 Nano. Also, unlike its predecessor, it doesn't feature all stream processors physically present on the silicon. The card is cooled by a dense aluminium fin-stack heatsink, ventilated by a single fan. The card is expected to be priced at USD $449.

RX Nano would sell like hot cakes if it was released f**king LAST YEAR. And in Vega 64 configuration. This seems like meh to be honest.

Probably gave up on release time with mining and hbm scarcity. It would've been a Tesla paper launch XD

I didn't watch the stream so spare me. Is it on 7nm? If so it would be a beast of a problem for nvidia.

No, it's just Powercolor's short PCB Vega 56 Red Dragon card with a weaksauce cooler.

I just finished watching the stream. I'm impressed, curious at that 7nm coming to gamers"this year" although Lisa didn't say this year, reports from ppl there are that it was actually what was meant by it. I'll wait though, I believe all will be revealed at siggraph, like it were last year. Now back to this GPU, would look nice with a custom block from the likes of aquacomputer/watercool. A little too late for me but I know plenty of people still holding onto their 780s, 290s and even 7970 cards, this would bea great update fir them.

Agreed on the point that it's too late. 2 days ago I picked up a new Zotac 1080ti mini on ebay for $740 plus shipping for my Dell 3650. I would have considered this card and kept my budget a little lower if it had been readily available.
