DOOM Eternal is the next entry to the 2016 reboot franchise of the game by Bethesda Softworks. We are guessing it follows the events of the series pilot, in which monstrosities have entered our universe from an inter-dimensional portal opened on Mars. They've somehow made their way to Earth, and with them, our untitled badass of a protagonist. The reveal trailer shows a devastated Earth city with sandworms, and Spider Demons (many of them!). The Spider Demons now have scorpion-like tails that probably shoot out plasma balls. There's no release date announcement, but that a gameplay trailer will be shown to audience at Quakecon, on August 10.

The trailer video follows.

It sounds like Mick Gordon is making the soundtrack to this as well, that can only be a good thing.

What are you talking about?

DX is not Nvidia property and is supported across all iGPUs and GPUs. Vulkan was known to crash with AMD GPUs but there's tons of fix out there.

And as of your Wolfenstein, what errors did it drops? Maybe your GPU wasn't able to support high settings? maybe your PC is full of crapware? who knows.

id isn't the best company out there, but saying that they are evil is a bit exaggerated (and all that because you can't debug your own stuff).

Cheers,

I didn't like Doom 2016, considered it a waste of money. I bought it from G2A so atleast I didn't waste very much. Played about 1 or 2 hours, it felt repetive, the Demon AI was easy to deal with by circle strafing. Levels consist of being locked in a large room/area while you kill all the monsters. Talk about bland. Also I usually turn music off in games, turning music off in this game reveals just how little effort was put into it. No ambient noises, just vacuum cleaner demon sounds. Game felt pretty easy, I set it to either the hardest or second hardest difficulty. Doomguy appears to be a total edgelord. Getting stuck listen to the robot ramble for 10 minutes early on was an irritating forced plot when the rest of the plot seemed entirely absent.

If you want to play a PC FPS done right just go back to either Unreal Gold or UT99. If you want more story, try Far Cry 3.

I doubt you even played Doom 2016 cause you are talking complete nonsense. The levels are huge and completely open to go wherever you want.
The music/sound is very unique in this game, never been done before.
There was never a dialogue 10 minutes long. Maybe 2 minutes max.
The one with Vega in his office and the one where you grab your first Argent cell plus a 1 minute ingame video where you watch Olivia release the demons.
The game is brutally hard on the harder difficulties.

It sounds like you are stuck on nostalgia and can't seem to move on.

Yeah the first argent. I got as far as some giant foundry before I was too bored to continue. I don't have any nostalgia for the early doom games either. I actually prefer Doom 3 and RoE over any of the games.

It's going to be awesome / gruesome once again.

I'll buy my next GPU somewhere around the game's release date, just like i did for Doom 4( June July 2016 if my memory serves)

The game is brutally hard on the harder difficulties.

This is very true. The second hardest setting (Nightmare) is exactly the same in skill-difficulty as the hardest (Ultra-Nightmare) with the exception of permadeath. In Nightmare, the difficulty increases with each level since you are barraged with more mobs and assortment of them that all utilize different attacks which require more tactics, strategy and awareness to overcome them. Just 2 hours in, even on this setting, Nightmare is quite easy. Nightmare is truly a nightmare when you are about 75% towards completion. The devs did a good job of making the game progressively harder which helps you adapt to becoming a better demon-slayer though.
