Corsair, a world leader in PC gaming peripherals and enthusiast components, today launched a new addition to its bestselling line of Hydro Series liquid CPU coolers, the CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i PRO RGB 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler. Equipped with a vibrant RGB LED-lit pump head and two high-performance ML120 PWM magnetic levitation bearing fans, the H100i PRO is ready to cool today's most demanding high-performance CPUs, with precise fan and lighting control powered by CORSAIR iCUE software.

The H100i PRO's pair of ML120 fans are tuned to produce the airflow and static pressure needed to excel when driving air through a radiator, in addition to boasting ultra-low friction magnetic levitation bearings that allow them to spin significantly quieter at higher RPMs. PWM connection allows for precise speed control across a wide range, from 400 RPM to 2,400 RPM, or even the ability to stop the fans entirely using Zero RPM fan profiles at lower temperatures.

Driving the H100i PRO's performance is a redesigned cold-plate and adjustable low-noise pump, engineered to transfer heat away from your CPU into the coolant, and towards the radiator as efficiently and quietly as possible. Capped with aluminum trim and a vibrant zone of RGB lighting, the H100i PRO's pump head sits at the heart of your PC with the performance to cool today's fastest CPUs, finished with vibrant ring of RGB lighting.

With customizable fan speed, pump speed and RGB lighting, CORSAIR iCUE software powers the H100i PRO, allowing users to easily adjust performance and synchronize lighting across their whole system. Set up detailed fan curves to automatically adjust fans when CPU or system temperatures rise, set RGB lighting to indicate CPU temperature or match your setup, and adjust pump speed to prioritize peak flow-rate or minimal noise, all from a single intuitive interface.

Easy to install into almost any enthusiast case thanks to a standardized 240mm radiator size and a modular, tool-free mounting bracket, the H100i PRO is backed by a comprehensive five-year warranty, so you can be confident of worry-free CPU cooling for many builds and upgrades to come.

Boasting the best in CORSAIR customizable performance, the H100i PRO delivers powerful, low-noise cooling with a flash of RGB lighting, for liquid CPU cooling that's seen, not heard.

Availability and Warranty
The Hydro Series H100i PRO is available immediately from the CORSAIR worldwide network of authorized retailers and distributors, as well as direct from the Corsair webstore.

The Hydro Series H100i PRO is backed by a five-year warranty and the CORSAIR worldwide customer service and technical support network.

[Editor's note: the warranty in the original press release was listed at two years. We confirmed with Corsair, it is five years.]

Corsair, a world leader in PC gaming peripherals and enthusiast components

Every company is a world leader, thermaltake, antec, NZXT, Gigabyte, etc., etc., whatever they make they claim they are a "world leader" in their boilerplate. For once I want some honesty, "We are a brand and make none of the stuff we sell. In fact it's pretty much just like every other brands out there since we all use the same handful of OEMs." We just market the stuff, make a few minor changes, and handle channel marketing along with customer service."

All Corsair Hydro series coolers have a 5 year warranty, according to their website. But if I look up my H110 on Newegg, it says 2 years, and the details link goes to a Newegg warranty page. Something is fishy with this.

That's what I thought as well, but from the review posted on the site here:

However, it would have been nice to see the five year warranty remain. Instead it has been knocked back to two years.

Maybe this would be better upgrade than NZXT's Kraken X42 I originally planned. On the other hand, I am no overclocker. I pretty much only go as high as stock voltage allows me, so this sort of a cooler might be an overkill. I like how it makes the case look clean, though.

This is an usual practice in Europe. If you'll RMA the product to store where you bought it, like Newegg, they'll treat the product as only having 2 years warranty. If you RMA it directly to Corsair, they'll (Corsair) treat it as having 5 years warranty. It's annoying when they do this, but I guess it's legally possible because it's quite a common practice, at least here in Europe or more specifically my country.

If it uses Corsair LINK Software to control anything then I would advise to not touch it, even with a ten foot pole...

You can basically view Corsair Forum threads for evidence, where they ban users on complaining about problems with the software that exist unfixed since a few years already.

Latest examples are here>
http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=176951&page=7

Link software has still problems with the newer chipsets, which exist since a year or more already etc.

I have a very good (technically) PSU from Corsair - AX1200i but the driver + Corsair LINK uninstalled for like a while now due to immense compatibility problems

The old design of AiO's was stupid which is why I was running them with fans connected to motherboard and controlled by my curve and not to the pump unit. They all had this stupid idea to push fans to ridiculously high RPM very quickly to get lower temps. That's not why water cooling is meant. Water cooling is meant to deliver good cooling at way lower noise levels. That's its strongest point. If you wanted a screamer you could just use a tower cooler and slam a Delta fan with 12.000 RPM on it and call it a day. So I perfectly understand the design choice behind this AiO.

Not using closed loops anymore (at least in my main system), but I like that they bundle with great fans at last. Few years ago getting better fans was the first thing to do with these.
