Another "RGB Gaming" product... though, a thought occurs while reading through the post. Typically a custom built PC is made up of parts from many different manufacturers. You might have a Gigabyte motherboard, Asus graphics card, Themaltake cooler, Seasonic power supply, etc... so I can only imagine all the crapware installed to control all the RGBs. It's nice at least that it supports ASUS AURA Sync, though I wonder how Colorful is using ASUS software. One less crap program, anyway.

If they are marketing this towards "high end systems" why are they only "up to" DDR4 3200?

You and me both. There's a famous review on Newegg somewhere (I forget for which product) that said something about Optimus Prime throwing up all over... something... kinda wish I bookmarked that.

Someone here had that as their signature, but I can't remember who.

I seem to recall seeing that.

@btarunr can we put a vote up?

A way to protest the RGB fad, we need everyone to stop talking about it. And refuse review items that emphasis "gaming" and "RGB" in the name or description. If you start it, you could eventually go down in history as the hero who saved the PC components industry and also brought down Tylenol & Advil corporation!

They may have been me, with my "Prehistoric Transformers abdominated abortion gone bad" tag line that I used to describe some recently released cases/peripherals :)

If not, then perhaps someone call pull up the aforementioned quote and repost it here for everyone's amusement....

Red and black color schemes make me sick...guess the markets in the far east and wherever colorful markets their products are 10 years behind the west in terms of realizing this cliche trope of PC "gaming"

Red and black reminds me of the classic ROG design before RGB took over.

Does anyone else think that "iGame" sounds like a line of gaming products for pre-schoolers? Trying to sound like Apple, sounds more like PlaySkool.

What exactly makes this memory better for "gaming" than any other memory? I wish these companies would stop using "gaming" everywhere when it has absolutely no meaning on most of their products.

It's the same meaningless BS as "digital" or "digital ready" speakers and headphones. That one especially annoys me and is usually applied to crappy products to make them seem higher end, to the ignorant who don't know any better.

Does anyone else think that "iGame" sounds like a line of gaming products for pre-schoolers? Trying to sound like Apple, sounds more like PlaySkool.

Yes... as well as any other iAnything product that isn't Apple. I distinctly remember an "iCooler" on some graphics card, I believe it was... o_O Hell, I thought the same of Intel when we first started seeing Core iX processors.

What exactly makes this memory better for "gaming" than any other memory? I wish these companies would stop using "gaming" everywhere when it has absolutely no meaning on most of their products.

Seriously... the "gaming" marketing scheme is getting really old. I think it's okay with peripherals... it makes sense to have a gaming mouse or keyboard with features gamers would find useful. I'd even be okay with it with some other things like a headset, or even a monitor... products that the gaming marketing would actually make sense for. But I don't think it applies to memory, motherboards, cases, etc. I'd love to see a joke review of a ridiculous fake product from Razer or something, just to poke fun at it. Introducing the new gaming toilet seat! Gamers all over the world often find themselves bored while "on the go", so we developed this gaming toilet seat for optimum comfort and precise control. Today, with the Razer Gaming Toilet Seat, nothing will stop you from crushing the competition, even when nature calls.

That toilet seat must be RGB as well. Color changing and all.

In the past, could see The Onion doing that since they made fun of apple before.
