Hello, i have an issue with my gtx 1060, all of a sudden it started showing artifacts but only in windows, i have none in web browser or bios. I updated my driver and nothing changed, pls help.
CPU: FX-6300
Motherboard: ASRock 970 PRO3 R2.0

SSD/HDD: WD10EZEX

Hi

Reads as; clock multiplier for GPU core getting stuck may be due to driver "bug" or other *OC/software or other

[Gentle advice]: keep an eye on this, if it occurs again try a clean install of latest Nvidia Driver Note: uninstall or deactivate any *overclocking software beforehand.

...clock multiplier for GPU core getting stuck...
GPU cores most definitely DO NOT have clock multipliers. The core clock, and/or the core voltage, "getting stuck" in a particular P-state is possible though..in theory at least. Which might cause artifacts in certain circumstances.

sounds like it could be a loose video cable. check that first and if the problem shows up later see if its any overclocks you might have setup.
