Sennheiser's iconic MOMENTUM range of headphones continues to change the game through its fusion of advanced technology, uncompromised sound performance and the highest quality materials. Now, the audio specialist brings the MOMENTUM ethos to an exceptional new product, the MOMENTUM True Wireless: these exquisitely crafted Bluetooth earphones set new standards for audio quality, with characteristic MOMENTUM style and comfort.

The first model in a new generation of the iconic MOMENTUM family redefines the audio benchmark for true wireless earphones with superior stereo sound performance that is guaranteed by Sennheiser's audiophile 7 mm dynamic drivers. With the latest Bluetooth technology, AAC codec support, and Qualcomm aptX compatibility, this exceptional hi-fi sound is delivered without any compromise. "The MOMENTUM range has always stood for a fusion of excellent sound, progressive technology and craftsmanship. We are pleased to now introduce the newest member of the family, which brings the essence of MOMENTUM to a truly wireless form for the first time", said Frank Foppe, Product Manager at Sennheiser.

Sense your world
Thanks to its Transparent Hearing feature, MOMENTUM True Wireless gives listeners the option of blending ambient sounds into their listening experience for improved situational awareness, or to participate in conversations without removing the earphones.

A smart, connected wireless experience
MOMENTUM True Wireless offers effortless interaction with one's digital eco system by enabling direct voice access to smart assistants such as Apple Siri or Google Assistant. Be entertained, communicate, and stay informed - all via a simple tap of the intuitive touch interface and natural voice commands. Noisier environments present little challenge thanks to the two-mic-beamforming technology, which optimizes voice pick-up for crystal clear phone calls and voice assistant interaction. The MOMENTUM True Wireless experience can also be personalized via the free Sennheiser Smart Control app, allowing fine-tuning of the sound according to personal preference via the earphones' built-in audio EQ. Additionally, aptXTM Low Latency compatibility enhances gaming or video content by keeping audio transmission perfectly in sync with the visuals.

Enjoy true wireless freedom in style
MOMENTUM True Wireless has a 4-hour battery life that can be recharged via its compact case with integrated power bank for more than 12 hours of all-day enjoyment. Designed for a perfect fit and all-day comfort, the splash-resistant earphones have been meticulously crafted to offer a sense of timeless elegance and durability. On opening the fabric-wrapped case, one discovers finely sculpted earphones that have been beautifully finished with metallic details on the outer face as well as gold-plated charging pins and magnets.

MOMENTUM True Wireless is available for 299.95 USD (MSRP).

As someone into physical fitness I really enjoy this wireless crap. If you've ever gone on a run for several miles you'd be well aware of how annoying cable rattle can be. After I went with true wireless buds it was a much better experience, even way more immersive. Every distraction helps in a way.

That's pricey for me BUT they throw the word audiophile in their sales pitch, for audiophiles these are cheap . I paid $200 for my Jabra Elite Sport wireless buds and am pretty happy with them, I could have gotten something cheaper but the fact they're waterproof was my reason for getting them.

Audiophiles go with external dacs and wired cans and abhor anything wireless. The fact this doesn't support ldac and aptx hd also doesn't help, this ones shouldn't sound much better than yours. 300 bucks for this is madness.

Don't get me wrong, for me $300 is more than I'll spend on earbuds. Still it's not as crazy as you think. I spent $2200 on my car subwoofer and $1800 on the D class amplifier, my Bob Carver Sunfire True HT subwoofer was $2100 or so back in the day. $300 isn't that much in the overall picture for drivers but it's subjective. My brother in law spent $500 on his Shure earbuds and they suck, so if you think this is crazy it could be a ludicrous?

The thing is these don't really add much value to justify that price. Sure they are Sennheiser they are high quality guaranteed, but the problem is they only offer sbc, aac and aptx, which are lossy bluetooth codecs, and I mean mp3 quality lossy. For 300 bucks you can get a collar type mcmm bluetooth receiver and plug your own mcmm earbuds and have 8 hour battery and better codecs. Is not true wireless per se, but it has more advantages than this in the battery and quality of sound departments. I got the WF1000x in a sale for 100 euros and I'm sure they sound similar to this because both are codec capped.

Also, the WF1000x costed 300 euros when they got out 2 years ago, so I don't really see the point on releasing this for 300 now when you can get the WFf1000x for 100-150, the jabra for 150-200 and if you want to be a big boy, the WH1000XM2 goes for 270-380 and the WH1000XM3 for 300-400. Unless they put in them some secret magic sauce that makes them sound similar to the Bose QC35 or something (and I really doubt that), this is just overpriced.

Interesting.... How's the bass on these? All the Senn's I've owned manage to keep the bass at a solid level without overwhelming. As much as I love good thumping when I'm in the mood, at that point, I want to feel it, not just hear it, and you don't get that with headphones heheh. How about the fit on them? Do they stay in your ears really well, or are they loose?

I owned several Sennheiser headphones and is what you say, they tend to be balanced and because of that they are my favorite. Sony has been always a little loud in the bass and the WF1000X are like that, before using these I had the Shure SE215 which had more treble but it wasn't a problem for me, now depending on the music I have to equalize the bass down but they sound really good in electronic music for example.

As for staying in the ear I don't have a problem, usually they come with cushions with different sizes. The only thing you have to be careful is when you rise your arm like for example when you are putting on a jacket or grabbing a side bag because you can hit them and can drop, I once almost dropped one in the street. I have been using them for 4 months now and I'm satisfied with them, the lack of cable makes things easier if you are commuting or working. In fact I want to buy the WH1000XM3 in next black friday or a sale and when someone decides to do a true wireless set with ldac and bt5 I'll buy them too. The good thing is ldac is baked on Android 9 by default so they will definetly make something like that at one point, and I want Sennheiser to get their shit together and do something nice already with bt because they still struggle to do anything worth mentioning. Once you go cableless is so comfortable you don't want to go back.

None of the earbuds or headphones you have listed are wireless so I'm not sure how they're relevant here. I will however add that the feature of being true wireless is stupid for most of the people that have them. Out of all the people I've seen walking around with Apple airpods or other true wireless buds NONE of them were being active so it's a huge waste. Unless you're working out then you don't need anything like this and the premium price tag that comes with.

There's no argument from me that you can get better earbuds or even a headset for far less than a truly wireless option.

And I never claimed you could get a true wireless set better or for less money than wired headsets or earbuds or bt headsets. Whatever you find useful or not depends, I do find them useful for my needs and I gave my insight about my personal experience with them and other stuff I can relate. The non true wireless stuff are things I put to compare since they cost more or less similar and what you can get for that money.

Really the only complaint I have is that they don't get extremely loud. At max volume they are right at the point that is safe for long term hearing without damage, but I would not mind being able to take it just a step further. Maybe in a future firmware update.

With Comply tips and just a little play/rotation after insertion they are comfortable and do the feel like they'd fall out.

The transparent mode is pretty neat, too. Being able to hear ambient/outside sounds is useful in a few situations and it's easily toggled (double tap right bud).

There are some players that can bypass the default volume usage using their own engine like Poweramp.
