This is another typical PR stunt where a "disaster" is causing "massive disruptions" to the production of silicon wafers. Samsung can shake hands with TSMC since both of them are doing similar things to keep their supplies intact while increasing the price. Bleh.

How long ago was it that some of us here were speculating about what would be the next fab problem? Doesn't seem like even a month has passed since...

I think there was a thread here, somewhere in November...

So, what do we have:

Intel selling inferior product at superior product prices;
Disaster stories made of cardboard;
Corruption and collusion between hardware/software manufacturers - as an example, memory manufacturers cartel, or recent epic store “aquisitions”.
Just remembering and matching what happend during 2016-2018....
The whole tech market gone insane, brazenly lying and trying to justify those prices&shortages while chasing in sweat the max profit - and arrogance and greed chargin all this clownshow. And there’s no place for customer - but why am I telling, y’all feel that already, right.
I can’t even beleive how dirty tech market got for the past couple of years. Man, who knows, maybe they’ve even beaten the wall street? :D

All that (above) seems to boil down to that many companies not venerated, that they outwardly don't care or show any care or seeing repercussions about integrity/ethical behavior from the top down. I'm not saying it wasn't there all along, it's just now it no big deal to lie or show alternate facts/reality, to achieve a outcome.
