Instead of releasing ram kit which only few cpu can run, ram manufacturer need to release 2933 MHz 1.2V JEDEC spec Ram. AMD's 2nd gen Ryzen and Threadripper both support 2933 MHz at JEDEC time. But most RAM kit still has 2133 JEDEC speed and higher speed enabled by enabling XMP/A-XMP.

Such a wasted opportunity going RGB... They should have used predefined colors instead. At 8 sticks, they'd have one more color than the rainbow, that would have been a cool marketing pitch

I'm pretty sure that even Intel CPUs are not "easily" running 4.2 GHz kits.
