The new Kolink Phalanx is a great value midi-tower that comes with a range of comprehensive features, perfect for builders of all experience. The Phalanx comes with a brushed aluminum front panel, offering a customisable display through it's central mesh air-intake via four pre-installed 120mm RGB fans. These offer a full out of the box air cooling solution, as well as the ability to cycle through a range of colours using the RGB controller on it's top mounted I/O panel. Should you wish to watercool your build there's radiator slots for a 280/240mm top mount, 240mm front mount and an additional 120mm rear mounted radiator.

Internals are easily accessed by a hinged tempered glass side panel, making building a hassle free experience, with an angled motherboard mount for easy cable management. There's also a vented PSU shroud to cover components and cable management in the lower compartment, with cable routing for minimal exposure in the full build.

not a bad looking case at all imo.

My main gripe is that there is no dust filters at the front of the case, only a mesh grill to stop people sticking their fingers into the fans

IO "front" panel is too far back... under a desk, not very friendly.

Then pick a different case.

I have a friend who has a desk like this one...

And rather than putting a shelf where the books and the basket are pictured here. He puts his PC on a plank of wood and slides it out a little when he needs to access the front i/O.

There are so many hundreds of cases to suit your needs in the world. Pick the one that suits you or just mod the case if youre skilled enough. Or if you really want that case then you find a way to make it work for you which could mean modding it or positioning it where you can get to it.

I like the looks of this case, but I also like a front mounted CD-Burner slot.
