The Division 2 System Requirements Outed - RX 480 Enough for 1080p @ 60 FPS, DX12 Renderer Offers Much Improved Performance

Oh man... they've really "optimized" these requirements.

Here's a hypothesis: for each game released this year and each settings, there exists an i7 old and weak enough to be considered minimal.
They could have easily replaced that i5-2500K as well. :)

And putting 7900X as minimal Intel for 4K is just sad.

Literally few days ago some known AMD fanboys mocked Tom's Hardware for being *allegedly* sponsored by Nvidia. I'd love to see their opinion in this thread... ;-)

Well its nothing under the table that this game is AMD sponsored, but yeah im ok with the bigger fond for AMD specs, im ok with AMD being in bright orange, but the comparison gear is nonsense

Played the open Beta...got bored to death. Nothing different from the first one. Same ol' boring grinding, lame and pathetic story, graphics -same or worst than previous one; nothing to justify the callous price those guys are selling the game for.
NOTHING!

I get that AMD promotes this but some of those cpu requirements are straight up looking at your $#@& using a magnifying glass.
Well many games don't even put AMD CPU/GPU in their system requirements.

That's what I've been saying (in a thread about value of bundled games). These games are usually mediocre. The price shrinks quickly after launch or they're literally given away in all kinds of "deals" and "game passes".
I've also played the Beta.
Well.. it's just "a game". Not awful, but nothing special. If I played 4h a day, I might considered buying this game for $5 on GOG (which should be possible soon enough).
These games got so generic lately... I'm surprised they aren't made by AI yet.

Should they?
IMO min requirements should show one piece of hardware. You have to find how your CPU/GPU relates to the one shown anyway. It's even more acceptable when one of the companies has 90% market share.
Imagine what would happen if we had 5 CPU makers...

Where are high quality games for old cpu?

That’s an oxymoron...

High quality game doesn't equate to flashy graphics.
There are plenty of great Indie games with conservative system requirements.

Not his point..He wants Div2 on his potato...

Eh, his i5-2400 isn't "that" bad, I'd expect it to still play most modern games, including this one, just fine. It's slower than the listed i5-2500k, but not significantly. It's about equal to the FX-6350 that is listed from AMD.

For some reason, and talking to other people and reads on various forums, this game value should be something like 10$ or F2P with micro transaction for cosmetics only. Really, there are F2P online games much much better out there than this "jewel"....

Wasn't this obvious the moment it got into the AMD game bundle?
If you take the cheapest Radeon that comes with 3 games and subtract their MSRP, how much is left for the card itself? $30? One has to be insane to believe these games will be good and stay at the launch price for long. :-)
At the moment Division 2 is also bundled with some Corsair products and I've seen it in some local deals. It's shaping up to be the "bundle hit" of this year. And then, inevitably, it'll land on humble bundle for a few bucks. Possibly right next to Anthem - another great $60 "bundle hit". :-)
