Latest Windows 10 Update Causes Machines with CSVs to Freeze or Lock Up

A workaround solution for one of many issues that shouldn't be an issue in the first place. :banghead: Thanks MS!

I use Sophos Home Pro and my latest W10Pro patches crippled my gaming rig. Sophos wouldn't even launch... Nothing would. 0xc0000102 error was the last one I saw before popping in the old USB installer to wipe the slate clean (again)

for ltsc no issues...was reluctant to upgrade but this is working fine

update your Sophos app - newest Sophos version should work with the newest Win10 patches

Why is W10 demanding I update now, or choose a delayed update time, when I DISABLED UPDATES. FFS M$, you lying piece of stinking. I have done everything possible in the W10 settings, and use O&O shut up, to disable updating... but you are still doing it! Last time I threatened to block MS update servers at the router level, now I am getting ever closer to block MS totally!

ASK ME if I want to update, dont steal my bandwidth, download, and then TELL ME that i have to choose a reboot time. This is digital rape.

Are you sure you disabled " BITS "(Background Intelligent Transfer Service) when you disabled the update service? If you didn't, that's why you are seeing this. That service will download the updates and then re-enable the update service to perform the updates.

Thanks - Double checked that, is on "manual", not "auto". I'll switch to disabled.
