ASRock confirmed that its custom-design Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics cards will launch in the 2nd week of August, 2019. Most AMD add-in board (AIB) partners are expected to announce their custom-design RX 5700-series graphics cards around that time. ASRock responded to a buyer's query about the RX 5700 XT Challenger, one of the three known custom-design RX 5700 XT products by the company, besides Phantom Gaming and Taichi. AMD debuted the RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 on the 7th of July, and the two are currently only available in reference-design boards through various AIB partners.

Yes, I thought so. When ASUS talked about September I said that they probably give priority to their Nvidia cards. They where one of those who rushed to sign with Nvidia's program anyway. On the other hand, Sapphire only sells AMD cards. They don't have any reasons to wait.

GPP is still very much alive. Got a bit less power and lost it's name, but it's still there in the form an agreement / contract at these companies.

Meanwhile I can see more than 20 models of AIB RTX 2060 Super selling already, the cheaper ones all start at MSRP and the twin fan cooling on them are good enough. Nvidia really considers AMD as a proper competitor this time it seems.

I still have no problem just setting a higher fan curve on the blower style cards, temps are fine. In fact, I kind of like that when winter time comes around.

The heat output is the same if you have a blower or some other type of cooling.

The only advantage of blower is no heat dumping inside.

A 2070 Super is identical in terms of pcb dimensions, chip position, vram and vrm position to a 2080. Literally everything is 1:1. Releasing a custom 2070 Super is SUPER easy, as absolutely nothing needs to be "created" or changed in regards to a 2080. I wouldn't be surprised if it was similar for the other 2 Super cards in some way.

Judging from the render, the radiator and shroud combo look really basic. I guess they just wanted to be first before any other AIB cards come out. At least it looks like an average 2-slot card. There comes a point where more thermal headroom doesn't do all that much anyway, if it can stay below 80c, it's all good.

That was my point mate, - hence why I mentioned winter time. Keep my room a bit toastier, especially since I only need one room to be warmer than rest of house. Keep furnace on around 67 faren in winter, so it doesn't kick on as often, and run folding at home when I sleep on my blower card (that was I have done historically anyway).

Exactly, same goes for the 2060 Super that basically is a 2070...

IMO Super Release only tells you how many bad 2080/2070 silicons were put aside for almost a year and then NV just sold us failed 2080/2070 silicons as 2070SUPER/2060SUPER :).

Hopefully these will drive down the price of the reference cards to the point where you can buy one and a water block for the same price as an AIB.

That is why I love my Vega 64s in winter time. No need for a comforter.

Not where I live, theres barely 5+ diff models in one of the biggest online hardware shops and the cheapest one is ~550$ 'MSI Armor'.
Blower 5700 goes for ~413 and XT goes for 468,Super is just stupid overpriced here.

seems like you can find 2060 super at same price as 5700xt, 2060s that much more expensive than 5700xt would be really strange, prices in Hungary should not be any different that Europe or US really

If it performs as well as it looks, Asrock is on to a winner here. Still Sapphire Nitro series is hard to beat.

That really depends where you buy it,I've been buying my hardware from the same place for ~10 years and the prices are like that there currently and its one of the biggest online shops by now. 'PCX'
Rather not buy from questionable sourcres/shops but thats just my personal preference.

We have 27% tax here btw.

They do and I guess I can count for the usual ~50$ premium for any aftermarket cooler model once they are out.'Navi that is'

I was deciding between 5700 or 2060 super but this pricing kinda decided it for me..
