MOM is a CCC process yes.
I dont even run CCC though, just the drivers :) so I save some of my 4 gigs for something else :p.

Oh, I thought CCC was tied to the drivers, woops. lol, I think I'm going to go and disable CCC, and yes 242 mb for firefox...I think part of it is having Internet radio open, maybe? My vista optimization is horrible to our xp computer. That thing uses like 500 mb unoptimized....grrr.

The only startup process needed is cftmon, and im pretty sure it would run fine without it. I just dont want to disable it as windows doesnt tell you what its tied to...

It just says system 32, which I generally wont fuck with :p.
So all I have running at boot is cftmon, keyboard/mouse software, avast AV and AVG antivirus
Ive also cut alot of services down too, but not any that reduce functionality.

Ctfmon.exe monitors the active windows and provides text input service support for speech recognition, handwriting recognition, keyboard, translation, and other alternative user input technologies.
