"graphene copper foil cooling module"

Is this something new (god forbid), or just anutha way of sayin "thinnest, cheapest p.o.s. that we could get away with calling it a heatsink thingy" ???

Yes, I know what graphene is, but this is the 1st time I have read about it being used as or in a cooling component...

Such foils are pretty much everywhere you look at. Especially mobile devices.

$250 for 1TB of Gen4

That doesn't seem a lot... does it? SSD prices have been falling down for the last year or so, I've lost track of what's good in terms of price/performance.

EDIT
Never mind, found a comparable drive...

...it's too much

Early adopters Tax.

These all are halo, EOL products already...

Wait for Samsung releasing their in house controller and these will be rendered to trashcan level... well at least they should not cost more than 100$ for a 1TB. Linear write speeds are a gimmick anyways.

No, I get that. What I meant is, this TeamGroup SSD is too much considering the crucial one is $50 less for the same capacity.

You're paying the PCIe Gen 4 tax here.

Interesting... very interesting. Cheaper and it comes with an actual heatsink. Yeah, the TeamGroup SSD doesn't look so great right about now.
