EK, the premium liquid cooling gear manufacturer based in Europe, is releasing a new Quantum Line of reservoirs and pump-reservoir combo units. They come in a completely new shape with straight edges and completely flat. This makes them even easier to fit in tight spaces, as they also utilize standard 120 mm fan mounting holes and take up as much space as a radiator in terms of width and length. The pump-reservoir combos come in both D5 and DDC variants, but either is compatible with both pumps. These EK-Quantum products come with sophisticated 5 V D-RGB addressable LEDs which can be controlled through your motherboard RGB control software.

EK-Quantum Volume FLT D-RGB reservoirs
These are the stand-alone reservoirs for the EK Quantum Line. They come in three sizes, 120 mm, 240 mm, and 360 mm. They are mounted from the backside using the 120 mm fan mounting holes and due to having no pump at the back, they are only 53.5 mm thick with the included mounting.

EK-Quantum Volume reservoirs come with four G1/4" ports. One in, one out, one for fill port and the last one for drain port use.

EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT D-RGB pump-res combos
These are the pump-res combo units very similar to the EK-Quantum Volume. They also come in three sizes, 120 mm, 240 mm, and 360 mm. They include the same mounting style from the backside using the 120 mm fan mounting holes, but due to having a pump at the back, they are 58 mm or 86 mm thick depending on the pump choice. 58 mm thick being for DDC variant, and 86 mm thick for the D5 variant.

Availability and Pricing
EK-Quantum Volume reservoirs and EK-Quantum Kinetic pump-reservoir combos are made in Slovenia, Europe and are available for pre-order through the EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network. They will start shipping on Monday, 18th of November 2019! In the table below you can see the manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) with VAT included.

Leave it up to the capitalist market to take something unique and cool (custom Cnc routed manifolds) and make them as boring and commonplace

As someone who is a sucker for useless aesthetics in pcs, even these give me enough pause to ask: "Why would I want this?"

I actually really like these, easy availability of something that was previously a custom option and in short supply.
More options for cooling layout and possibly space saving too
