Thermaltake, a leading premium gaming tower manufacturer, is thrilled to announce a new compact design case line up- the H550 TG ARGB Edition Mid-Tower Chassis from H Series chassis which is famous for its eye-catching RGB light strip incorporated at the front. The H550 TG ARGB's dedicated diamond cut angles around the 2 mm aluminium front panel makes this case unique and incomparable. The front ARGB light strip and one preinstalled rear 120 mm ARGB fan can be controlled via motherboard synchronization software or the RGB switch on the top I/O port for ultimate lighting effects. Other outstanding features include a 4 mm tempered glass panel, a riser GPU support bracket, and removable magnetic filters for overall exceptional PC performance which is the ideal PC case for both gamers and enthusiasts.

Features of Thermaltake H550 TG ARGB Mid-Tower Chassis:
Sync with Motherboard RGB Software
The H550 TG ARGB's preinstalled 120 mm ARGB rear fan and ARGB light strip at the front have been meticulously designed to synchronize with ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome. They support motherboards that have a 5 V addressable RGB header, allowing you to control the lighting directly from the above-mentioned software without needing to install any extra lighting software or controllers.

Tempered Glass Panel
The chassis comes with one 4 mm tempered glass panel on the left side, thicker and more scratch resistant when compared to standard acrylic. On top of this, the enlarged window design enables you to display and admire all your components in their full RGB glory.

Vertical GPU Mount
Specially designed with a dual GPU placement option, the H550 TG ARGB has the support for vertical graphic card layouts with dual PCI-E slot designs. The PCI-e riser cable is optional. Plus, the included riser GPU support bracket not only can prevent the graphic card from sagging but also helps to reduce the weight on the motherboard.

Excellent Dust Reduction
A handy magnetic fan filter on the top simply attaches for easy dust filtration and particulate protection. At the base of the chassis, additional fan filters provide excellent protection against both dirt and dust.

High-End Expansion Possibilities
The H550 TG ARGB has good expandability. It can support a CPU cooler with a maximum height of 165 mm, two-way VGA placement of up to 300 mm in length for horizontal and 45 mm in width for vertical option, a power supply with a length of up to 200 (without HDD Rack) and RAM height limitation up to 40 mm (with radiator series). Optimized for excellent cooling capability with one 120 mm ARGB rear fan preinstalled, the H550 TG ARGB can house up to three 120 mm fans at the front, two 140 mm fans on the top, and one 140 mm at the rear.

Handy I/O Ports
One USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0, and one easy access RGB button on top-front panel to grand direct access when needed.

The vertical mounts are too close to the side-panel. And ofc they won't give the riser cable.

Oh I hate cases that don't do front intake, rear and top exhaust anyway. Hard pass.

Not that electric car level pipsqueak intake pls.
And when did companies invent fans that push/pull air from the sides?

The 2 main enemies of computers are heat and dust. The concept of a closed front panel is ok if you have air flow from the bottom. The addition of PSU shrouds has made that almost impossible. I really don't understand why case manufacturers are doing this. Companies seem to have forgotten that rule with cases like this and zero fan policies on GPUs (especially with vertical mounted GPUs right next to the side panel).

who the hell buys all these towers, seriously we are niche market already and it seems like 100 new cases come out a year if not more, lol

and it's one of those things we tend to keep long term... personally, i regret throwing away my carbide 500r case, I loved that thing. I dropped it once and dented a corner bad... but it was still usable... oh well, lesson learned. shame they don't sell it anymore, i had a custom made dust filters for it imported from a south african company... those are also now gone, lost in the mess that is PC building.

Huh! I really wanted Cougar MX330-G or Turret Mesh case for my build this year. But was out of stock. So I tried to make-do with my old case. Now I think I never needed the new case anyway. Only redeeming quality was the glass side panel. And somewhat greater clearance.

Since I also don't need the dvd drive anymore, bent the platforms on the drive bay to accept a 140mm Yet Loon fan lying around from my last psu.

guess Corsair's iCUE 220T RGB & Carbide 275R Airflow seemed like a better alternative these days, with all the other brands of similar price point or cheaper that are still using this particular design...

I've seen this design flaw before... sooo many times now.

And it's getting tiresome, to the point in wishing i had the funds to make my own haha.

It is all so why i kept my TT Armour case too which i would love to find some one who could make a new front for it as i hate plastic ha.
