There certainly won't be (and neither will active southbridge cooling). But at least you'll get PCIe3 between the CPU and the chipset.

Why do people think the chipset is Linked over PCI-E 2.0 ? There doesn't exist a AM4 Chipset that Links over PCI-E 2.0 they all (except X570) link over PCI-E 3.0
The lanes they Spit out are PCI-E 2.0

for B550 we know the lanes it's gonna's spit out will be PCI-E 3.0, so i hope the it will link over PCI-E 4.0 (and that also would make the most sence)

You are right, of course. My bad.
But here's the kicker: if I forget about the new generation and go for the X470, not only do motherboards cost about the same, but they're also out of stock. If I look at B450, I'm losing Intel networking, debug LEDs... and, of course, USB 3.2.

Asus Prime X470-Pro has all of the above, a decent price and excellent stock levels, at least here in the UK. Lots of people are "upgrading" to X570 and selling X470 boards second-hand, as a result retailers are starting to aggressively get rid of "old" stock to get more X570 boards, so prices on X470 and X370 are dropping significantly.

Kinda pricey over here and Crash Free is a definite step back from dual-BIOS, but otherwise something I should definitely look into. Thanks.

PCIe2 is not much of a limiting factor today, but I'd feel a bit better knowing I can rely on PCIe3 instead
Agreed.
(PCIe4 would be even better, but I do not want active cooling).
That isn't something that would bother me. The last board I owned with a chipset fan couldn't be heard over the sound of the other fans.

I thought you were stateside?
