EK, the leading premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to introduce the EK-Loop Connect, a straightforward information and control hub for all the relevant parameters of your liquid cooled PC.

EK-Loop Connect
A Fan, Pump, and an Addressable D-RGB controller unit that is designed from the standpoint of an enthusiast. With this control hub you can easily set your desired RGB lighting effects with just a few clicks, as well as optimize your cooling performance, and noise levels through a simple PWM chart or pre-defined profiles. That's not all though, as you'll have the option of using external temperature sensors, flow meters, and coolant level probes.

The EK-Loop Connect is one of, if not the most powerful, mainstream fan and LED controller available on the market, topping off at 170 W of total power delivery. It's capable of delivering 20 W per each 4-pin fan header, combining up to a total of 120 W. The industry-standard, non-proprietary addressable D-RGB headers can each handle 8 W of power.

The easy-to-navigate software interface is simple enough for beginners and advanced enough for enthusiasts. All major features of the software are thoughtfully laid out to keep your custom liquid cooling loop healthy!

EK-Loop Connect is designed and engineered in Slovenia, Europe, made in China and is available for order for €54,90.

Looks pretty good. Here’s hoping the software is decent too.
Yes seeing as this is their first attempt at this kinda product the software is really makes it a winner or loser. Even the other guys have less than decent software in this area,

People who got one for Black Friday had not a nice thing to say about the software.

Sadly it's again a "our own eco-system" Approach as it Looks like. I'm glad some are starting to "pool resources" or make their Standards more open but it's just annoying to see how much is NOT working in unison

This is me, speaking as someone who loves to hate his razer/Corsair combination --- my LianLI Razer-ED works amazing with all my Input devices in unison, just my Corsair AIO and case-fans can only be synced manually in a static way --- not, like for instance the "on the fly" changes Razer does with the Lights depending on what game you Play // or even, like in Overwatch what class/character you Chose changes the "mood lighting" which is nice, except there is NO way to sync this with the Corsair fans, even though they would be capable of it. The Corsair fans are great and everything. The razer lighting is great and everything. I also had some other fully adressable RBG Solutions already which also did a great Job ……… just never in unison. I wouldn't care if I have to set up 10 Software solution as Long as there is a button "sync to ….." and I can get them to sync at least halfway with each other *sigh*

EKWB's take on Corsair's Commander PRO, but more features & uses open standards. Cool. =O

Here's the thing, at least for me, I'd rather have 2 - 4 powerful LED headers (as in each one can power and control at least 240 leds/pixels 300 (so 75W+ per header)) than 8 of them with 8W each

That's not possible but let's pretend for a moment. Since each LED draws .3A@1.5V, a 75W header would only support 167 LED not 240 AND that is completely ignoring the 50A flowing through that hypothetical header just to maintain that 75W@1.5V.

Where can you buy some digital rgb strips for the loop connect? Doesnt look like cablemod has any.

I have been using it for a month with my new loop.
The first thing I noticed is the primitive software, the absolutely horrible UI that barely makes sense and at times doesn't work or crashes. I said ok no problem after all, watercooling is also a lot about hardware at least it works no? Well no. After a few weeks the fans connected to it stopped working while in use. I want to be clear that everything is new and from EKWB. I moved a little the connectors in place and they started working again. I would like to mention that they were firmly in place. Meanwhile my loop went crazy.
It looks like it is just a prototype, bad quality overall
It doesn't work with 4 pin 12 V rgb

I would NOT recommend this

Yeah I was thinking about getting one but I'm not sure I will be buying anything EK branded from here on out, at least not until they show that they care about producing a high quality product cause right now it seems they only care about manufacturing all products at the lowest possible cost. That mission might be more profitable in the short term but it is putting a huge stain on the EK brand & many many builders are taking notice. Shame!
