The benchmarks come courtesy of _Rogame and TUM_APISAK who have found various entries of the AMD Ryzen 4000 series and Intel's 10th Gen Comet Lake-H processors since the last couple of months. The latest benchmarks show us a more clear picture of what to expect from AMD and Intel in the mobility segment in the next couple of months when actual laptops based on these CPUs will start hitting retail shelves.

I'm surprised there aren't any posts in this thread yet. I may be in the market for a new laptop sometime this year to replace my Powerspec 1510 (7700HQ / GF 1070), and waiting patiently for these to start showing up and see what they offer.

The physics benchmarks from that article for the new Ryzen mobile chips look very good. Almost 90% of the performance of a desktop 3700X.

I'm guessing the Xbox Series X cpu will be pretty similar to the 47/4800U with a slim possibility that its the 4800H

Looking forward to either of the ASUS G14/G15 laptops with the 4800HS, 240Hz display (adaptive sync!), RTX2060, and (historically) 70+WHr battery. ASUS also added USB-C charging (as a backup) for the 4800HS models.

Add in RJ45, battery charge state control, and clustered function key groups. Also dedicated volume control and no useless webcam whatsoever.

Could be a near perfect laptop! Just waiting on price (it will probably be a bit over $1000 after it hits Best Buy and launch pricing calms down a bit).
