A Dutch website has listed what seems to be the entirety of Intel's upcoming 10th gen CPU lineup, with prices to boot. Of course, we have to take these listings with various grains of salt: e-tailers are known to sometimes display higher pricing than the manufacturer's MSRP when products still haven't been listed on other websites.

The listing below showcases model number and pricing for each Intel processor. Should this pricing actually come to pass in a generalized way, we're looking at Intel's Core i9-10900KF processor (which is currently listed for €567.73 including 21% VAT) competing with AMD's closest-priced CPU Ryzen 9 3800X, which is already street-priced at €449. The Core i5 10400F, on the other hand, is listed at €196.99, which means it currently competes with AMD's Ryzen 5 3600X at €199.99. It remains to be seen which of these CPUs will win in a direct shootout. Remember that for US pricing you typically just swap out the € currency for $, and you've got your price estimate pretty close to final.

With these prices... maybe not 100% DoA but close to it.
We will not get any competitive pressure like this :(

I surely hope these prices are not correct. If they are correct (especially for the top tier products) on the other hand, then I'm really sorry Intel but no thanks.

This is either Pentium Extreme Edition-level brazenness or those 10 cores might just be beating 3900X to justify the 600EUR price.

Agreed. This isn't the right way to go about it. If these prices are correct, then the 10900K is way more expensive than the AMD Ryzen 3900X...

Well, that is one way to look at it but I wouldn't bet my hand chopped off for this justification.

Ryzen 9 3900X is around 400 euros. This thing ^^^^^ has to be beating Ryzen 9 3950X in order to justify its pricing.

Also, i5 for 400 euro?! Err, what?! :kookoo:

I am not quite sure how that Core i5-10600K will compete with Ryzen 7 3700X at the same price point.

Bwahahahaha... as in the 10400F topic...

200 bucks for thát? And the rest is even worse. Hey Intel, dream on. You don't even give us an IGP anymore for the money, and somehow think we want this to save the 20 bucks we never should have paid anyway? Are you mad?

I mean...

well AMD is about to release the 4600 on the 7nm improved Process so... by the time you spend those 200 Dollars AMD might have a better offer at that price... just sayin, if you can wait for the releases and reviews... And depending on the release AMD Boards might be on the cheap cause you can grab a X470 ou X570 board and use it without giving up a lot (assuming the board is compatible via BIOS Update).
Intel = New CPU + New Socket = New Board

Plus we dont even know the performance yet.

It is always best to wait and see before speculating.

It's probably going to be the case that those prices drop as Ryzen 4000 series comes to desktop then.
Since the 3900X will drop prices hard at that time this could be a bloodbath for everyone besides us consumer's.

Technically, it is impossible that the Core i9-10900K can be faster than the Ryzen 9 3900X.
There is no node shrink, there is no expected IPC increase, only two more glued cores, first was 4, then 4+2, then 6+2 and now 8+2.

I don't want to sound alarmist but Intel could be in for a rude shock if the global economy takes a downturn, these prices are justifiable for a monopoly with no competition but certainly not the (performance) underdog!

One question, how many pcie 4 M.2 slots? Samsungs 980 Pro is near.

One question, how many pcie M.2 4.0 slots? Samsungs 980 Pro is near.

You mean "how many PCIe 4.0 lanes"? M.2 is a form factor, so even if 10xxx-series had PCIe 4.0, it would be up to the motherboard manufacturer to decide how to spread out those PCIe 4.0 lanes. Comet Lake supposedly supports 40 PCIe 3.0 lanes.

But I'm guessing you already knew that answer.

Do you know a fun fact?
"El Capitan will be a huge leap forward in supercomputing performance with more power than the current top 200 fastest systems combined."

So far with Intel's greatness, technological leadership and society servitude.

None, Intel won't support PCIe 4.0 on its consumer platforms until 2021.
