As the world's most popular GAMING graphics card vendor, MSI is proud to unleash the most powerful Turing-based gaming graphics card onto the market. The famous GAMING TRIO series has reached its ultimate form in custom GeForce graphics cards to push the limits of performance once more. Making sure gamers will bask in glorious amounts of frames, MSI has fitted the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti with extremely fast 16 Gbps memory. Outperforming the MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO by over 5% out of the box, the industry-leading MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING Z TRIO sets a new bar for extreme gaming.

Rocking the mighty TRI-FROZR design with supreme cooling power allows the MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING Z TRIO to deliver top notch in-game and thermal performance. Featuring MSI's patented TORX 3.0 fans, the unique fan design combines the advantages of two differently shaped fan blades to generate huge amounts of concentrated airflow while remaining virtually silent. The Wave-Curved 2 fin design helps to dissipate heat from the heatsink quicker than ever to keep you cool in the heat of battle.

An aggressive gunmetal grey & black look emphasizes the glorious RGB glow on the card. Using the updated & improved MSI Dragon Center software, controlling and synchronizing your LED-lit components and peripherals is just a few clicks away.

MSI DRAGON CENTER
MSI Dragon Center is a brand-new software platform with the goal to integrate all MSI software for components, desktops, laptops and peripherals. The all-new software features Gaming Mode, which instantly optimizes your hardware for the best gaming experience including SSD, monitor and network settings. Mystic Light enables you to customize RGB effects to enhance the gaming atmosphere around you. This budding new software platform will continue to improve and evolve, including more unique functionalities and benefits for MSI users.

MSI AFTERBURNER
MSI Afterburner is the world's most recognized and widely used graphics card Overclocking software. It gives you full control of your graphics card and enables you to monitor your system's key metrics in real-time. Afterburner gives you a free performance boost for a smooth in-game experience thanks to higher FPS.

AVAILABILITY
The new MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING Z TRIO card is expected to be available starting 16th of April, 2020.

What is this strange effort to have all different sizes of fan on this cooler?

Man, what a mess. The first Trio was much better. The backplate is another such example.... they cut out a piece so you get to look at that ugly shroud exposed from underneath... and the backplate usually faces up...

I miss the times when even the enthusiast cards were simple and clean looking.

LOL, yeah, weird-ass marketing.

However, this is technically an upgrade from the usual 2080 Tis with the slower 14 Gbps GDDR6. They basically took the 15.5 Gbps chips from the 2080 Super, plopped it onto the 2080 Ti PCB and overclocked it a little. So it is possible to have a 5% performance increase.

In an effort to bereally boring I'd like to point out the cutout of the backplate is so you can still reach the SLI fingers, if you look at the fan side you can see 2 screws so you can remove that part of the fan shroud to fit an SLI bridge.

For me it'll be 300 fps if I replace my GTX 780 with this on my 1440p monitor.

But then again I'm not crazy enough to spend $1500 on a graphics card so yeah.

I noticed that all their top end cards are like this.

That's from 1750MHz (14 Gbps) to 2000 (16 Gbps) and is safely overclockable to 2150 (17.2 Gbps). I would reckon a 15 FPS increase at 1440p for most games.

But I wouldn't get one for the price they're selling these for.

I had a 1070 Gamerock with 2 fans and still have the Aorus 1070 with 3 fans. The Aorus had a weirder design where the third fan sits below the 2 fans. Funny to say it runs hotter than the Gamerock.

I have a 2070s trio and it is so cool that the fans doesnt even spin when doing light gaming. It only ramps up at the last firestrike test.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Seems like a continuous struggle for MSI to do that elegantly. My 1080 Gaming X has it too. But there you don't look straight into the shroud from the top, or at least, it doesn't stand out like this. There is a bracket in the way.

And as for cooling capability people pointed out... oh yes. They do well, I'm not contesting that at all :)

SLI is dead, so what exactly is that connector for, NVlink?

The 2080 Ti was launched way back in September 2018, not sure a bit more bandwidth can defeat any paper tiger.

With price tag of a super expensive workstation card, die size which is irrational and costs through the roof.

not sure a bit more bandwidth can defeat any paper tiger.

AMD's Navi 21 is coming with immediate impending launch.

AMD’s ‘Big Navi’ graphics cards have hit North America for testing

Yeah well, here we are today it still has no competiton, let's hope the amazing Navi 21 turns up sooner rather than later, we are getting close to two years already and I doubt Nvidia have been sitting around counting all their money.

I'm probably the odd person out for saying this, but I really like this design...Save for the port-side fan being smaller than the other two. Sorry, OCD thing. I just find it weird because most 3 fan cards either have fans that are all the same size, or only the middle fan is slightly smaller. So to have the port side fan on this one be smaller I just find a bit odd. Gorgeous beast of a card otherwise!

Yes that is NVL interface.
Nvidia still mentions in their driver notes as adding and updating SLI profiles. So, while it may be used less, it isn't dead. RDR2 will run SLI. Some profiles do only work with the Turing architecture but until Nvidia explicitly mentions the SLI profile updates as NVL updates and stops using the term SLI, it isn't dead. I'd love to see some proper 4K RDR2 NVLink gameplay without TAA or any form of AA with the updated drivers using Vulkan.

MSI has the hands down worst support and BIOS research team period. They could not find their way out of a wet paper bag if it depended on their lives and their mom and grandmas lives period.

Do you have proof to back up that statement? As far as I'm concerned, much like everything it's impossible to please EVERYONE. A product can have glowing, 100% positive reviews up and down the chain...and people will STILL manage to find something they don't like about it. Of the big mobo makers -- ASUS, Gigabyte, ASrock, MSI -- they all have their fair share of issues and none of them, at least from a BIOS standpoint, are worse/better than the other.

Been running +1100MHz on my memory since day one on my Aorus Extreme WB.

Are people running 17-18GBPS on this memory?
