Sharkoon joins the lightweight gaming mouse trend with the Light² 200. Weighing in at just 62 g, the right-handed ergonomic Light² 200 also brings PixArt's PMW3389 sensor, Omron switches for the main buttons, high quality mouse feet, and a flexible cable to the table, all while keeping the price wallet-friendly.

Props for including replacement feet. All mice should come with a second set. I may be in the minority but I've always used hard mats. My feet always grind down within a year.

Why the ... lightweight mouses are trending? The worst thing about any ~5USD mouse is that it is too light. It is difficult to move lightweight mouse precisely that allows to set high DPI value and use mouse precisely with low movement of the hand. It is difficult to move light mouse precisely that is why it loose any point to get it instead of any 5 USD cheap mouse, or 15 USD mouse made out of acceptable quality material.

@pzogel any plans to review the Razer Viper? Id like to see what the click latency is with those optical switches it has.

Light weight mouse are growing in population amongst esport crowds. Less weight means less force needed to move it and change directions quickly. Less fatigue over long gaming sessions as well. I aim way better with a lighter mouse. Shape also depends a lot on that. Mind you most games that people play that are considered esport or competitive not many are using above 800DPI. I use 400 DPI for instance. ELIGE, pro in CS, is probably the only one i know of that uses over 1000 DPI

Damn. I end up getting a new mouse (every 2 years on average as of late) way before the feet go out. Im on a soft pad though.

The first thing I check when buying a mouse is weight. If it's anything over 95-100 grams, I'll pass. I use a Model O- now, best mouse I've ever used. Will look into this Sharkoon as a replacement when the time comes. Thanks for the review !

No plans to review the wired Viper at the moment. There's already a review of the Viper Ultimate though, and a review of the Viper Mini is scheduled.

Unfortunately I can't use my usual method for accurately measuring click latency for optical switches currently. I'm in the process of trying to get it to work, however.

Holes on the sides just make some lightweight mice that have them very annoying to grip, so this is a no-go for me. Disappointing because it looked pretty good otherwise.
They should have just made a version without any holes that's 5 grams heavier, it would be a much better mouse, it's why the XM1 is king.

They're not, the Model O is a mediocre mouse at best, with notable issues and the rest just copied that mediocre junk, Sharkoon seriously is late to the party.

Meanwhile, most serious mouse revisions are closed shell.
