this means absolutely nothing to a PC gamer who has to wait a year for the PC release

*gladly* waits for a year to get it feature complete and bug free. On discount. With all DLC. And by then usually also vibrant mod community.

Yeah :) Hard life

I doubt a modding community will end up for FF7 remake.

I'm keeping my hopes down for it. Square Enix has failed me more often than not. But DQ 11 was fun.

Edit: what the hell was End cost? Stupid phone auto translate BS.

How it's even possible that this thread hasn't got any replies even the game is 1month old  oh well, I should've posted too..

Played now thrice and just with assisted, but I'm actually speedrunning (and well, getting points for upgrades for the "real" runs).. 2h17min on my third run (played second and third on the same sitting including toilet/cigarette/getting beer breaks), I'm fine with that though going for under 2h is my goal. Hella great game and could be my favourite for 2020, we'll see what's Cyberpunk gonna be.. And I don't have PS4 so I haven't played FF VIIR, so I can't say anything about that, at least yet.

Learning how to dodge helps A LOT, just a tip. And just like RE2 Remake, I haven't even bothered using keyboard + mouse, gamepad is the way to go for games like this.

Maybe the only disappointment is that the game is pretty short, and some people say that it's not that faithful to the original; I have no problem with that since I haven't played the original.

It is an awesome game. Haven't finished it yet though. I am just busy these days. It is definately my favorite game of this year. The changes in story for FF7 Remake has really put a sour taste in my mouth so I am not very happy with it. It isn't a bad game, but the story changes near end of the game just really put me off.

I actually cant play RE3 or RE2 remakes with controller. The aiming just screws with me on the xbox 360 controller. So I just stick to keyboard and mouse.

Of course it's just everyone's own thing which peripheral to prefer; I've been mainly a PC gamer for over a decade now but still some games are better with a controller

I should in fact go back to RE2, I've completed only Leon A and that's over an year ago.. I remember that I didn't find the other gear to the clock tower and I was in a terrible panic since that asshole Mr. X just won't leave me alone even for a moment. :D

Mr.X was really a stress for me. I hated how he did the Nemesis thing of 3 but was around no matter where you went. My friend is a die hard RE fan and he managed to do the hardest mode second play through within the next day after beating the game on first day. He unlocks everything within a week. The guy is a madman regarding these playthroughs. Me though? No way. I take my sweet time to the point some of my friends get mad at me lol "how can you take so darn long to beat a game?"

Ah, pretty same goes with me. Then I may take an older game and try to get as many achievements as possible..

At least some of these in RE3 doesn't seem so hard. Without item box... not impossible, just feels weird as hell.. :D

Played 8 times now and I just love the game more and more every time. The last playthrough was my first time on hardcore difficulty. I need to play few more times until I'll get enough points for the infinite rocket launcher.

The best approach is to not purchase anything from the shop until you can afford the rocket launcher. Once you have that it makes getting several other achievements much easier. Therefore unlocking additional shop items quicker. Speed runs are a breeze with the rocket launcher for example. It took me about 60hrs of play time to get everything unlocked. And FYI, Nightmare and Inferno is when the game starts getting challenging...not a huge leap during the main game, but the final boss fight is upped in difficulty by like 10X compared to hardcore and lower. Those final boss fights are rage inducing moments where you wanna scream FAAAAAAWWWWKKKKK at the top of your lungs while shaking your fist at the screen lol

Well, I have hip pouches, some buff coins, infinite pistol (not using anymore) and infinite assault rifle now. But that's just my style of playing. :D
