EA Teases Next-Gen Videogames from Criterion, Bioware, DICE and Motive

Need for speed porsche unleashed. Bring an update to that game. Everything since has been way too arcady.
I don't want to embarrass myself, but I got hooked to Real Racing 3 (mobile racing game, also from EA) cause spiritually it's about as close to NFS Porsche as it gets nowadays. Played the crap out of it back in college.
I think the last one I touched was ProStreet, and it was only fun 'cause I had G25 with semi-proper setup at the time, and at least it had something that resembled car physics and damage.

But i don't have hopes for a Dragon Age with good story and without real life politics inserted.
I'm just waiting for another flood of glitch memes. My face is tired...

Great, more of the same, eternal same, now with higher resolution.

Sorry EA, not even lukewarm here. Your studios are a shell of their former self, just make sure Respawn doesn't follow the same fate pls thx.

New ME, new DA.... can't even bother to look. Not joking

The last great NFS Game was NFS Hot pursuit 2 (2002) & nfs world. Anything after 2020 and in between is nowhere near as good.

Porsche Unleashed was a good one, I forgot about that title
Still have the disc/jewel case and booklet for it. Great game indeed.

Fun fact my handle came from that game because it fit on the license plate

Two years in a row now EA has barely shown anything at E3 or any conference, I have a feeling that skate game isn't going to be Skate 4 it will be the skate mobile game, but I do understand its a weird period with new consoles coming, but it would be nice to see something new.

watch the new need for speed get put on a game engine designed for shooters and ruin it again

Anyone care to start the "how will DA4 be ruined by the company called BIOWARE that's a shell of its former self" betting pool?

I'm in $50 on being being able to make the player character gender fluid and be able to have relations with anything with or without a pulse.

I don't do EA, I don't care how good a game is.

Most Wanted (2005) is rather renowned and was the best selling game in the series.

I have purchased 4 multiplayer EA games titles on PC and this is my experience....
- Every game is full of cheats , a joke anticheat engine leading to a completely unplayable game and a joke report system which does Nothing.
That's it....

Couldn't agree more, as a die hard Battlefield fan I do feel this, the series went downhill since Battlefield 3 :wtf:

I have no confidence in EA. Their PR team can talk a good talk but their corporate team talks louder than their customer focus team so im out.

Amen to that.

After they demolished Mass Effect with Andromeda I'll not spend on EA another dime.

I don't do EA, I don't care how good a game is.

Correct, EA only does YOU :)

Gotta say its heart warming to see so many people on TPU agree for once

Squadrons is gonna give them their ”pound of flesh” from me I’m afraid...

Can't wait to play the same sport game from last year at full price.... /sar

You know what, if Origin wasn't so hideously shit I might be triggered too. But I literally don't feel certain buying games for that platform. Don't trust the company in keeping things up and I do trust them to find the legalese to kill off our rights on that content. They've already moved in that direction with their on demand game service, really, because it allows them to chop up content anyway they see fit (legally).

Their after care is crap. One of their strongest franchises and trilogies, Mass Effect. Look at the treatment it got - and I don't mean the fate of Bioware. When I wanted to buy it for PC some years ago, I had to cobble together a weird combination of keys and DLC and post-install downloads through some strange Bioware website-contraption using points nobody ever uses anywhere any longer. Its still a scattered mess I believe; you can find versions (Steam) that can't even properly access all the DLC. Its a complete mess and there is zero effort from EA to sort it out - even if they own all of those scattered databases (!) and its account data.

Similarly, Origin, even despite countless updates (you have no clue whatever changes either) is still looking like it came straight out of the Vista days. Web design 1.0. Components sometimes just don't load, get placed in random locations on the 'page' which is just a glorified, clunky web page with zero functionality. Functions offered in settings are also buggy as hell. Payment options can straight up be non-responsive. I still never managed to buy an Apex battle pass. Simply can't - and no clue why, because no error message or anything. Its just a dead end I guess.

But yeah, you do you, though it strikes me as odd coming from the guy who had all sorts of problems with EGS... This leads me to a very applicable Star Wars pic.
No offense.

They're selling on steam again.

And Vadars not that stupid, he would have a minion do that for him.

I'm sold on squadron's, all the noise around it is exactly what you would want to hear.
Still I'll await reviews mind.

You know I hadn’t fired it up so long but I absolutely love the MoH reboots. The campaign puts all CoDs to shame. Well I’ve reset Windows recently but the game was still installed. I got stuck in an infinite “install loop“ I could nothing to get out of no matter what I did. Thankfully I could still actually launch it from the .exe. So yeah I can and have a genuine issue with it NOW....
Look I caved at one point for EGS but when I tried to install the launcher Windows literally flagged it as “dangerous“ and despite me ignoring that it still has the “admin shield“ to install...

I really liked Origins. DA 2 was garbage and (pink)Inquisition was ok, i only played it once though, got it for 19.99 at a sale. EA with Frostbite engine have a big advantage in terms of graphics and sound. Too bad about the gameplay and story that has gone down.

Haha wow murphy's law in full effect with your launchers! :toast:

Slightly interested in a new dragon age (maaaybe). I guess that's all for me and EA for the next 2-3 years
