COUGAR, leading brand in the development of PC gaming hardware and peripherals, announces today the arrival to the world markets of an innovative Ergonomic Gaming chair, the combination of Gaming and Ergonomics to help gamers optimize their performance.

"In the last five years, COUGAR has been receiving feedback from customers that expressed a wish for an improvement in the gaming chairs market, which had long been plagued by problems such as non-functional designs, poor quality, overheat and humidity from the body, pain and fatigue and more problems. In view of this, COUGAR decided to take matters into their own hands. We love gaming, and we have worked hard for years to provide PSUs, cases, cooling and peripherals suited to gamers' specific needs. We took a long, hard look at the gaming chairs market and to be honest, with few exceptions, we did not like what we saw. We knew it was time for us to do something about it," said Lio Huang - Brand Director.

Argo is built with a premium aluminium frame and highly breathable mesh cushion that brings lasting maximum support for the most comfortable gaming experience. The build-up of heat and humidity from the body can be a sticky dilemma. So, how to stay COOL? Argo's highly breathable mesh design allows air, body heat and water vapor to pass through the seat and backrest to keep you fresh, cool and dry. Experience the most comfortable and weightless seat during a long-term gaming session.

Easily adjust the height, tilt, and seat sliding depth using the trigger shift wire control system. Argo's headrest and armrests are also adjustable so you can easily find your most comfortable and preferred posture.

Argo's Dynamic lumbar Support Design can fully handle lumbar back support to ease pain and fatigue during long term gaming sessions.

ARGO is available for purchase in the USA starting in June.

The US MSRP is 499.99 USD.

I wish manufacturers would move to a meshed back more and more, as opposed to all the generic pu leather stuff that has been saturating the market for years now. For absurdly (and unjustifiebly) high prices.

But $500 is simply too much. Ikea has a meshed chair for $100 (on sale), buy a small pillow for lumbar support and you're good to go.

Their so called "lumbar" support is too low and imposes on the sacral region.
This type of design needs to go, either do it right or don't do it at all, especially in that price range!

Next time leave it to the experts please, you know, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists etc.
This is like Homer's attempt at designing a car.

It looks like a cheap knock-off of this, for a higher price and with worse ergonomics. The one below is $50 cheaper.

So much better than all of the "racing" themed chairs on the market.

Could you link that chair?

$500? Why not just get an Autonomous ErgoChair 2 for $399? Better overall design, more adjustable, cheaper, less tacky.

I'm partial to the green, but there are plenty of color options including an all-black for those who want it stealthy.

Still, have to say I by far prefer this to all those hideous "racing" gaming chairs out there. At least this won't be disgustingly sweaty, looks to have some actual ergonomic adjustments, and looks at least somewhat presentable. That orange base has to go, though.
