A recent listing on SiSoftware reveals a possible new single-board computer from ASRock, the 4X4-V2000. This listing is likely for the successor to the 4X4-V1000M released by ASRock last year with an embedded first-generation Ryzen CPU. This new listing indicates that the V2000 will be making the switch to Ryzen 4000 with the 7 nm Ryzen 5 4600U. This processor upgrade should bring a significant speed boost over the previous 14 nm chip, featuring 6 cores and twelve threads along with six Vega cores running at 1500 MHz.

If this thing is reasonably priced it's a day 1 buy for me. Need a highly efficient small astronomy computer.

For me 5700XT in the same form factor and combine it into a Double board console killer. in under 1L case. lol

reasonably priced, just forget about it. the smaller it is the more insanely priced it is.

This would be great, but will probably be very difficult to get. Similar products from AsRock have been OEM only, and usually for the Aisa market, so unless buying from Ali or something like that, will not be available. Too bad, I could really use one of these.

4000-series go down to 10W. That means you could VESA100 plate it to the back of a monitor, run it fanless with power directly off the USB3 hub on a typical monitor and have a silent, wireless, thin-client with decent performance and zero visible cabling aside from the power plug to the monitor...

I'm guessing these things expect a 12V DC input so I highly doubt they'll make the required 5V USB3 to 12V converter :(

That'd make a nice SFF HTPC that could probably do some really light gaming... Like android gaming

how does the cpu compare to old desktops? i7 2600k/i5 3570k...

Is it actually usable and fast enought for casual gaming and surfing? if yes this is awesome..

Favourably, on the CPU front.
Casual gaming will also be viable, Spit-balling numbers - I feel that a 10W Renoir will be in the same ballpark as an old 750Ti. So no modern AAA titles but it's certainly good by IGP standards.
