The top model high flow NEXT offers in addition to the flow sensor a measurement of the coolant quality by measuring the electrical conductivity. In addition, the water temperature is precisely measured and it is possible to calculate the power dissipation of the cooling system. The sensor is equipped with an optical flow indicator and an acoustic alarm. A graphic display shows all sensor values and can display them as a chart. The RGB LEDs integrated in the sensor can visualize the sensor data in various ways or can be configured individually.

The RGBpx interface can control externally connected LEDs with many effects including a backlight function for monitors. A connection for the aquabus interface known from Aqua Computer devices and a signal interface are also available. The sensor is powered and controlled via an USB interface. Aqua Computer provides the aquasuite software as an extensive monitoring and control software.

With the high flow 2, Aqua Computer introduces a successor to the high flow sensor, which has been known for years. In addition to significantly more compact dimensions, a water temperature measurement was integrated into the sensor, which is CNC milled from solid acetal.

For purists, Aqua Computer also offers the high flow LT, a functional flow sensor at an attractive price.

The prices are 29,90 Euro for the high flow LT, 49,90 Euro for the high flow 2 and 69,90 Euro for the high flow NEXT.

I was interested until I saw that it's a mechanical flow sensor.

"Aqua Computer Introduces Three New Flow Sensors"

You mean they added RGBLED to three old flow sensors?

2020 is the worst year and this is the worst timeline where "improvement" means throw some rainbow lights on outdated models and double the price.

These new sensor have nothing to do with the old high flow sensors!
The mechanical and electronic parts are completely different. For further details check the extended announcement in our forum.

Just to name a few key points aside the LED and display in the NEXT variant:

• quadrupled resolution
• extended flow range of 35-1000 l/h
• measurement of electrical conductivity (water quality)
• highly accurate temperature sensor
• integrated buzzer for alarms
• individually tuned bearing (yes, for each single sensor!)

In direct comparison to the previous variants you get much more for a quite small extra charge. The high flow next is just 10 Euro more over the old high flow USB but the NEXT has MUCH more features.
So much about the allegedly price doubling...
The LT variant costs even less than the old high flow sensor.

Ah okay, I take it back.

In essence you are offering a naked flow sensor for €30 and whizz-bang RGBLED with display and temperature sensing for €70. Without your forum link it wasn't clear that the LT was missing features other than RGBLED.

You'll have to excuse the initial cynicism, 9/10 times "old product + LED = new product", and that applies to some of the largest names in the industry :(

Do you know when we can expect availability in the US?
There is no useful answer to this question since it depends on if and when resellers order. Please note that many of them do not purchase the goods dirctly from us. The general delivery time for the new sensors is about 6-8 weeks, so I expect you will not see them in the States before November if you try to get them from a local store.
