MSI Releases AGESA Combo PI V2 1.1.0.0 BIOS Updates for AMD 500-series Motherboards

MSI, the world leading gaming motherboard brand, releases optimized BIOS updates for AMD 500-series motherboards. Combo PI V2 1.1.0.0 BIOS has been released and it will be able to download in the coming days.

Highlights include: Optimized compatibility for AMD Ryzen 3000-Series and Ryzen 4000 G-Series Desktop Processors and future AM4 socket processors, solve some specific OC failure issues, updated SMU module, and optimized DDR4 memory overclocking. After the previous updating, MSI keeps making a great effort to offer optimized BIOS updates for AMD 500-series motherboards. With high expectations, the latest AMD Combo PI V2 version 1.1.0.0 BIOS for X570 and B550 motherboards will be ready for users to download and update constantly from the end of September. As for A520 motherboards, Combo PI V2 version 1.1.0.0 BIOS will be released by the end of October. In addition to AMD 500-series motherboards, the updated version is also expected to support AMD future processors. I have msi x570 tomahawk... just wish they could be more clear on the wording... lol

well this is beta... and i am honestly in no rush since im waiting until oct 28th anyway for big navi. so i will just wait anyway. meh

v2 agesa is zen2 and zen3, pre v2 has older zen support, or something like that.
Why they didnt just change the number to 2.x.x.x instead... erm amd big brains thought Combo PI V2 was.. easier :confused:

That's quite a version - 2.1.1.0.0. We also started with AGESA and ended with Combo PI. Unless I take it right that Combo PI is a rebrand of AGESA? It's a mess now.
