With AMD's Radeon RX 6000 and Ryzen 5000 promising to be a formidable high-end CPU+GPU combination, EK Water Blocks is anticipating many "pure AMD" DIY builds, and is giving final touches to a new line of full-coverage VGA water blocks, Socket AM4 CPU water blocks, and monoblocks for certain premium AMD 500-series chipset motherboards. The company teased renders of some of these products in the development pipeline. The VGA full-coverage block in particular borrows many design cues from the recently announced RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT reference-design cards. An illuminated Radeon logo sits on what seems like an acrylic top that has PV covering. The CPU block and motherboard monoblock feature large AMD logos. There are also radiators and Vardar fan variants in AMD's favorite shade of red, with branding on the impeller hubs. There's no word on availability, but at least those of you planning AMD-purist builds know where to look for liquid cooling gear.

That GPU block is beautiful. Has that industrial design to it that I absolutely love.

It's this a joke? Why is it so goddamn ugly?

I actually like it a lot myself, partially because it makes me nostalgic, thinking of one of the first PC upgrades I did, a PSU of (The terrible brand) Xilence.

I have to agree .. without rgb i can see a fps penalty of around 20-30 percent .. lmao

I'd also like to pay 20-30% more for blinky lights! Definitely needs RGB.

I like the GPU block; but it'd be nice if it came with an AMD/Radeon backplate, as well as offer a black anodized aluminum variant (to emulate the earlier reference Vega cards with their brushed aluminum coolers).

I've always bought acetal blocks for both CPU and GPU, so this design bodes well for me. Good job EK and I am sure they'll make RGB stuff for those that want everything RGB.

EK is my favorite brand. :D
I have almost full EK water loop in my system except for CPU block which is XSPC RayStrom Pro.
I am sure they will bring multiple variants for the 6800XT block like they did for Radeon VII.

I hope they will bring the plexiglass version like the one in my photo of Radeon VII card from my Radeon VII Owner's post:

Man, I’m really not a fan of that design... It’s not bad, but the new Nvidia FE block looks 1000x better IMO.

Yes, this particular version does not look very nice but historical EK usually made multiple versions.
On the other hand performance is more important for me than the design.
EK did not disappointment me in the past with their performance.

It's just toouch of a 'gamery' aesthetic for my taste personally. I'm sure someone will release a flat monolithic looking GPU block which echoes EK aesthetic design from other products.

there are a lot of things i don't care for but that amd/ryzen/radeon branding looks pretty sweet. the amd/ryzen more so.
