Gainward Now Produces Motherboards

Gainward, the world leading producer of high-quality and high-end video cards, is now entering the motherboard market. Gainward's first motherboards to make debut is the Intel P35 powered Gainward P35A. The Gainward P35A supports all Intel Core 2 1333/1066/800MHz processors as well as the future 45nm Yorkfield and Wolfdales CPUs. The board supports DR2-800 memory and features two PCIe slots, four SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet and 7.1 channel audio.

looks a bit basic tbh probably going to be budget/mid range boards cant see them being monster overclockers with the cooling it has on the nb/sb

I agree - for some reason it reminds me of some of gigabytes old P4 prescott core mobos. my dad still runs one downstairs & his mobo looks exactly the same

The design sucks, for a start the 2 PCI slots at the bottom should have been moved one slot further down to make both the PCI slots useable when running 2 graphics card.

The board layout isnt that bad, not perfect, but not terrible either. As for it looking "basic", who cares? Less there is on it less chance of it going wrong. All the board needs is a few fan headers near the NB and SB to add some active cooling, and some OC options in its BIOS and it could turn into quite a surprise.
