Wire grill and silicon screws

Hi,
I want to cut out standart 120mm grill in the back of my case and replace it with a wire grill. At the same time, I'd like to use silicon "screws". Are there any silicon screws that can hold a wire grid and a fan together? I found these from Noctua but I'd like to know your experience before I order them. Thank you.

Those work. There are better ones out there though. Black silicone with like 3 spaces at the end.

They do have massive 5-10mm rubber retainers that would protrude from the panel looking no where near as neat as a common bolt head but they do work well.

I wouldnt worry about rear panel aesthetics as much as securing the grill and fan.

you can secure it with cable ties and just 2 if that's all that matters?, when i did mine i used a 12mm thick fan a metal filter plate, and used two cable ties to hold it on the mobo mounting plate(back of mobo actual mounting panel).

only the main 120mm hole in the back panel, no mounting holes, and obviously the filter was flush with the back side (internal) of the back panel.

i didn't even fasten them just bent back the cable tie in to cable tie bases to hold them a minute the panel did the rest.

from the outside it looked very neat.

I don't do it because of aesthetics. Wire grills are less restrictive to airflow and are more silent.
