SanDisk is looking to drop the price of SSDs for the entry-level market with its new uSSD 5000 SSD series. The USB-based drives will be used in sub-$250 PCs and will be embedded directly onto motherboards.

SanDisk's uSSD 5000 will be available in sizes ranging from 1GB to 8GB next month :)

i wonder what prices/speed are like - could make a good page file drive :D

That's also a relative phrase. lol. Low cost compared to what? Standard SSDs? That might not be too low cost after all. :roll:
