where are the legacy catalyst drivers?

I was looking through the ati download section and none of the old catalyst drivers are there? were they deleted? am I looking in the wrong place? I'm looking for catalyst 6.5 for windows ME/98SE

It's for a x1300 and I plan to use it on Windows ME and Windows 7

You don't happen to know what catalyst version was the first to support x1300 and which was the last to support ME/9x do you?

x1300 release date was somewhere in 2005.

This driver is from Dec 2005:

X1300 confirmed working on 430tx motherboard. Also there appears to have at one point in time been a ME driver that is supposed to work in 98 for catalyst control center 6.5 that supports x1300 but I have yet to find it.

That seems quite unlikely as the last Catalyst release with Windows 98SE/ME support was 6.2 and it supported up to the x800/x850 series (and lower specced members of the same family).

Could you please share the source for that information ?

I am having unbelievable problems with my internet nothing will load nothing will download can you help me out here I've been looking all day and by that I mean trying to get things to load. I can't find the link I had earlier that mentioned a unsigned release for x series for ME that works with 98 also the original link to ati was broken in the page

I found another link to omega drivers which also seems to be broken... ugh!!!

There is no such driver.
Radeon X8x0/x7xx/x6xx/x5xx/x3xx (ie. DX9b/SM2.0b support max.), were the last ones with official Windows 98 support (newest driver for Win98 is Catalyst 6.2)

You have to go to dead link (www.support.ati.com), to download uncertified driver of unknown version.

A few years ago www.station-drivers.com had modded Catalyst drivers for earlier ATI GPU's. No idea if they're still listed there however. I may have some original ATI install discs for the 9800 Pro, X800 and X1600 GPU's somewhere in my basement but have no idea which of several boxes they're in.

I don’t see the windows ME x1300 driver.. can you link to it? It looks like the oldest drivers they have are 7.6

Looking at release notes it seems it only supports radeon x000 series
