The EUROCOM Sky Z7 R2, based on the Intel Z590 Express chipset, features the most powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs available today (up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080). This Mobile Supercomputer is available with choice of desktop-level 11th generation, Tiger Lake, Intel CPUs (up to i9-11900K), up to 128 GB DDR4 memory and up to a whopping 32 terabytes of the fastest NVMe storage available today (PCIe 4.0 is supported). The EUROCOM Sky Z7 R2 features high-speed Thunderbolt 4 technology along with a multitude of I/O ports, unmatched security, as well as award-winning network detection and prioritization via Killer E3000, with speeds up 2.5 Gbps.

This EUROCOM Mobile Supercomputer is specifically designed with fully-upgradeable components featuring upgradeable, non-MaxQ GPU (via MXM 3.1 V 2.0 technology) and desktop level CPU (via LGA1200 socket), with easy-to-access and fully-upgradeable internal hardware, battery and external power.

Intel Z590 Chipset & 11th Generation Intel CPUs
The EUROCOM Sky Z7 R2 uses the highly-anticipated Intel Z590 Chipset, with support for Intel's latest 11th gen or Tiger Lake CPUs such as the Intel i9 11900K. The Intel Z590 Chipset also boasts considerable upgrades from previous chipsets such as more bandwidth, faster networking and connectivity, more ports (such as Thunderbolt 4) and most importantly- native PCIe 4.0 Gen4 support.

PCIe 4.0 Gen4 x4 Technology
The EUROCOM Sky Z7 R2 will have native support for PCIe 4.0 when using 11th Generation Intel (Tiger Lake) CPUs via one of its M.2 2280 SSD slots. PCIe 4.0 Gen 4 x4 technology is twice as fast as PCIe 3.0 and double the bandwidth. More specifically, PCIe 4.0 offers up to 16 GT/s data transfer rate compared to PCIe 3.0's 8.0 GT/s data transfer rate. With this, the Sky Z7 R2 can utilize the fastest NVMe drives available today (such as the Samsung 980 Pro Gen 4.0 x4), which delivers read speeds up to 7000 MB/s, making it 2 times faster than PCIe 3.0 SSD's and 12.7 times faster than SATA SSDs!

Plethora of Ports & Thunderbolt 4
The Sky Z7 R2 offers a wide variety of ports, such as one USB-C 3.2 Gen2 Type C, two Thunderbolt 4, three USB 3.2 Type A, two miniDP 1.4, two DC-in, one HDMI 2.0 output (with HDCP), one 2-in-1 Audio jack (Headphone/Microphone), one 2-in-1 Audio jack (Microphone/SPDIF Optical) and one RJ-45 LAN port, which adds up to a total of 14 I/O ports. Besides the large number of ports, the upgraded chipset also gives access to faster connections as well- such as USB 3.2 Gen2 x2, with transfer speeds up to 20 Gbps.

If the CPU, GPU and SSD are all under load, I think the heat will melt the chassis. It is a silly product to stuff an ultra hot CPU, GPU and PCI-E 4.0 SSD in a laptop chassis and charging a ridiculous price for a product that will throttle badly and potentially run slower than a much cheaper alternative.

18737 $ with all configuration at max. without os
With this sorts of price, one might as well buy a high end custom cooled desktop and a high end gaming laptop which should run almost as fast if not faster.

No matter how good is their cooling, i9 11900K will suffer from throttling.

11900K shouldn't even be bought, let alone incorporated into this.

This IS "Tiger Lake". ;)

The thing is you don't need an uber expensive power hungry beast like this to get PCI-e 4.0, any Tiger Lake laptop with MX450 GPU should have that bandwidth.

Half a year before Tiger Lake there was a Clevo Zen 2 laptop that should probably hold this title.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) AMD held back on PCI-e 4.0 and haven't implemented it, over power consumption and heat concerns, something Intel doesn't seem to care about.

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
The huge PSUs on these publicity-stunt portable desktops are so large that you'd almost just be better off bringing an mITX box and a monitor with you instead.

You'd certainly get more cooling and have a few thousand dollars in savings with the ridiculous markup these behemoths command, though quite why you'd want to invest big money in the disappointing(ly hot and inefficient) Rocket Lake for something as heat-sensitive as a laptop beats me.

Nope, this is Rocket Lake desktop crammed into laptop shell. Calling it Tiger Lake is just another mistake either by TPU or they just copypasta whatever press release says without proofreading.

Is a mistake either by TPU or the press release, just like every other mention of Tiger Lake.
It has desktop Z590 chipset which supports Rocket and Comet Lake only. It also has a CPU socket and there's no socketed versions of Tiger Like.

Or if you don't want to believe me, just go and check the actual product page: https://eurocom.com/ec/configure(2,477,0)EUROCOM_SkyZ7R2
Processor: socketed desktop LGA1200 CPU, up to Intel i9-10900K / i9-11900K

this is a fake, THERE'S NO ONE INTEL CHIPSET SUPPORTING PCIE 4.0
the CPU may support it, but no one chipset at pcie 4.0 so at the end all is runing at pcie 3.0

All the new 11th gen intel supportes pcie 4.0 but their chipsets only pcie 3.0 even the new Intel 500 serie schipsets runs at max pcie 30 so all from Intel is a fake, at the end runs at pcie 3.0

AMD almost the same the 9 series ending with H means for mobile tops at pcie 3.0
So no one labtop with SSD at pcie 4.0, well, unless using cpus from desktop grade (which Im not sure if they are on labtops)

ABSOLUTELY FAKE, this computer from eurocom uses Z590 chipset

ONLY PCIE 3.0 FAKEEE ALL MEDIA IS FAKING, INTEL MANIPULATE INFO.. TO LOOK LIKE NEW LABTOPS HAVE PCIE 4.0 BUT THATS A LIE

Opciones de expansión

  • Revisión de PCI Express3,0
