AeroCool today unveiled the Gladiator Duo, an ATX mid-tower case with a touch of bilateral symmetry in its design. An ARGB lighting strip runs along the height of the case at the front-panel. The front fan intakes are located along the bottom- and top edges of the front-panel. The actual front-panel I/O is located along the top, next to a 2x 120 mm top exhaust. Tempered glass covers the left side-panel. Inside, the case features a horizontally-partitioned layout. You get room for graphics cards up to 32.6 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 16 cm in height.

Ventilation options on the AeroCool Gladiator Duo include either three 120 mm or two 140 mm intakes along the front-panel; two 120 mm top exhausts, and a 120 mm rear exhaust. Storage includes two 3.5-inch/2.5-inch trays, a 3.5-inch/2.5-inch mount on top of the tray, and two additional 2.5-inch mounts behind the motherboard tray. Front-panel connectivity includes two USB3 type-A, and HDA jacks. The case measures 210 mm x 519 mm x 404 mm (WxHxD), and is made mostly of SPCC steel. The company didn't reveal pricing.

They started off good with the 140mm intake option, and just dropped the ball from there. Sad. :shadedshu:

With an internal volume of just 30.5l this is actually an impressively compact ATX case .... until you start counting the huge expanses of (mostly) useless plastic stuck to the outside of the frame. Which adds - wait for it - another 13.5l of volume. That's 44% more just for some plastic shrouds and (massive) case feet. Should be a pretty good base for modding though - just stripping away that panelling would make the case quite small. Add some simple mesh panels, and you'd have a case not that far from the volume of a Cerberus X.
