Well, if it's really going to be blurry, there is a forgotten technology, Radeon Sharpening. It was sort of intended to be a competitor to DLSS 1.0 (and some considered it to be better than DLSS) and it worked on any DX9, DX12 or Vulkan game. Sharpening with FSR may look really good.

look at this screenshot. FSR is dead on arrival, look how blurry the ground looks. DLSS 2.0 auto wins if this is all AMD has to showcase....

well then use ultra quality settings. im not to worried as that is running on a 1060 and that is basically like a ps4 pro gpu

and theirs no reason to think they wont be able to improve this a little more in the future

its super super odd to see high end pc snobs comment so stupidly and so earlty... like wow .... so the not top visaul settign is used on a2016 card... yet the snobs are insanly harsh before all the stats are shown?!?!? pc elieist are you using a 2016 low end card yet posted a comment.... we need nvidia ai to filter out tolls/ harassers/ pessatmisc ppl... this is FREE on a 2016 card..... and in motion all that is gone ff half of doom eternal the speed hides the low poly/ distant/ textures... if im wrong zoom in on them... the engine is not that amazing it hides stuff much like the 400 dollar gorgus new rachet game that is past many pc visuals because they hide them

your welcome to lower resolution to achieve the same effect. or did you not see the screenshot AMD provided?

The fact that AMD is brining this technology to Nvidia cards , to where a GTX 1060 owner could never experience DLSS or any form of it , unless he magically conjured a out of stock over priced RTX card.

so as a gamer , I will take every extra piece of FPS that I can get.

Go to NVCP --> Adjust Desktop size and Position, select Full Screen, go to any game and select a lower resolution than native and voila, you have +40%-100%fps depending on resolution (need some Image Sharpening but that's also easy to do)
