MSI, the world's leading manufacturer for true gaming hardware, is proudly expanding the hardware possibilities for all gamers. Artemis is formerly known as Ἄρτεμις and derived from Greek mythology. It is at the same time known as Luna (New Moon) and Goddess of Hunting. When hunting, she wore a silver bow and rode a silver cart pulled by a female deer with golden antlers. The image shows both kindness and majesty, just like the moon.

1000R is the most suitable curvature for the human eyes. It perfectly fits the curvature of the human eye so that you can see the entire screen without any fatigue. The curved surface design can also enhance the sense of coverage and immersion so that you will not be disturbed by the outside environment during the game, which greatly enhances the gaming experience.

Gaming Intelligence
To improve the users' experience, MSI designed a series of smart software based on years of professional experience in the research and development of eSports and an understanding of the needs of players. Some of these smart gaming technologies provided by MSI include Smart Brightness 2.0, Smart Crosshair, Night Vision AI, Optix Scope, and Sound Tune.

Smart Brightness 2.0
The MPG ARTYMIS Series monitors have a built-in light sensor that automatically detects the surrounding area's light source. With AI computing, the screen brightness will automatically be optimized for brightness and color temperature according to the lighting of the surrounding area.

MSI introduced the light sensor commonly found in designer monitors into the screen of a gaming monitor so that players can be protected from the environment and have the best performance.

Night Vison AI
Reveal the enemies hidden in the dark. Adjust the details of the dark areas and maintain the details of the bright areas through AI calculation, making the picture bright but not overly exposed.

Optix Scope
Snipe and kill your opponents before they can react. The built-in aiming magnifier provides eight-stage zooming and has shortcut keys to quickly switch the magnification. Additionally, the mouse DPI will also automatically be reduced for you to perform at high magnification. The screen can maintain the operation so that no matter what weapon is used, it can become a sniper rifle and attack enemies from thousands of miles away.

Sound tune
Eliminating all obstacles to communication, the MPG ARTYMIS Series monitors have a built-in noise reduction microphone that eliminates noise through AI calculations and helps communication between teammates with clearer sound quality to achieve the best teamwork for the final victory.

Smart Cross Hair
Through AI calculation, the aim dot automatically changes color, making it visible at any time. If the color of the aim dot overlaps with the background color, it will cause trouble for aiming. The MPG ARTYMIS Series Monitors use AI to observe the color around the red dot and automatically adjusts it to a color that contrasts with the surrounding colors to ensure that you can always easily see your aim dot when aiming at your enemies.

Console Mode
For PS5, we designed an exclusive Console Mode, which can automatically accept 4K signals on the QHD monitor, and support HDR simultaneously. This gives you the best gaming experiences and allows you to enjoy console games even with a QHD monitor.

Curved Gaming
The curved display panel of the MSI gaming monitor has a curvature rate of 1000R, which is the most comfortable and suitable curvature for human eyes for computing or gaming. Curved panels also help with gameplay immersion, making gamers better connected to their games.

1000R - The Perfect Curve
MSI ARTYMIS Series adopts the new 1000R curved surface technology, creating the perfect curvature that's closer to the viewing angle of the human eye and reducing eye fatigue caused by long-term use of the screen. At the same time, it enhances the sense of coverage and immersion, bringing a higher level of gaming experience to you.

Rapid Boost (165 + 1 ms)
MPG ARTYMIS Series gaming monitors are equipped with a 165 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms response time. It will undoubtedly be beneficial to professional gamers, especially those playing fast-moving games. Games will no longer look quirky since our monitor will be able to keep up with any FPS your graphics card produces.

Integrated KVM
Control multiple devices via one set of joystick, keyboard, mouse, and MSI gaming monitor.

Built-in with headset hanger and mouse bungee that holds your headset's cable in place and prevents tangles, leaving your desk clean and simple. This brings you a better gaming experience and improves your gaming performance.

MPG ARTYMIS Series Gaming Monitors are built to make you as comfortable as possible while gaming. Through adjustments of tilting (-5°~20°), lowering, raising (0~100 mm), swiveling (-75°~75°), you can easily change the position of the monitor for maximum ergonomics and optimum viewing experiences.

You see those warriors from Hammerfell? They've got curved monitors. Curved. Monitors.

Curved ultrawide designs are arguably better than side-by-side flat monitor setups for general desktop use. But for gaming, do they still suffer from UI/scaling issues in some titles? These gimmicks from MSI aren't enough to make up for that.

I can't say I'm a fan of curved monitors, especially at just 27". I bought a 34" one and found it "OK" for games but sent it back and got a flat one of same size after I just could not get used to "straight" horizontal lines no longer being straight in Excel, Photoshop, etc. Not everyone likes them especially for multiple-use PC's (gaming / work, or perhaps a bedroom PC used from both up close (gaming / work) and maybe from 8ft away (watching Netflix in bed) where the curveness is all wrong).

But for gaming, do they still suffer from UI/scaling issues in some titles? These gimmicks from MSI aren't enough to make up for that.
Not sure what you mean. Poor UI scaling is an issue for older games where all the fixed size UI / HUD elements get smaller as ppi goes up and it's about the same for a 34" 3440x1440 as for a 27" 2560x1440 (both 109ppi). The 32" 1440p here is the same 92-93ppi as 1080p @ 24" which should solve any old game scaling issues, but isn't Ultrawide. If you mean scaling as in not wanting 16:9 content stretched on a 21:9 monitor, that's easily solved in GPU drivers (use 1080p on 2560x1080 or 1440p on 3440x1440 centered without stretching, ie, select "no scaling" or "aspect ratio scaling" in your GPU driver and it'll be pillarboxed without stretching / distortion / scaling issues).

Call me biased, and maybe its because I've never tried using one myself, but I think curved is crap for anything other than an ultra-wide monitor that is strictly used for FPS gaming. I just can't see myself trying to use something like that for productivity work.

It seems that they're ultrawide, but then the spec sheet lists 2560x1440 for both?
