MSI, a world-leading gaming brand, announces the all-new AMD-powered gaming laptop, Delta 15 and the revamped Alpha 15/17, equipped with the AMD Ryzen 5000 H Series Mobile Processors and the up to latest AMD Radeon RX6700M Series Mobile Graphics. MSI continues to fulfill the diverse demand of gaming and leverage the strength in the AMD product line.

Delta 15 and Alpha 15/17 all come with the latest Radeon RX6000M Series Mobile Graphics, 1.5x faster performance compared to previous generations AMD graphics. * Powered by the AMD Radeon RX 6700M, Delta 15 provides ultra-high frame rates, while the Alpha 15/17, equipped with the AMD Radeon RX 6600M, delivers 1080p gaming at max settings.

Next-Level Gaming with AMD Advantage Edition Laptops
The amazing performance of the brand new Delta 15 and Alpha 15/17 come with the combinations of AMD Ryzen 5000 H-Series Mobile Processors, AMD Radeon RX6000M Series Mobile Graphics and exclusive AMD SmartShift and AMD Smart Access Memory* technologies, which provide the next level of speed and responsiveness.

Next-Level Gaming with AMD Advantage Edition Laptops
The premium displays of Delta 15 and Alpha 15/17 are equipped with up to 240 Hz high refresh rate. The laptops also feature AMD Radeon Anti-lag*, which significantly decreases input-to-display response times and offers a competitive edge in gameplay, and Radeon Image Sharpening, which restores clarity to in-game visuals that may have been softened by other effects.

To provide the best gaming experience, Delta 15 and Alpha 15/17 are geared with MSI exclusive Cooler Boost 5 thermal solutions. The redesigned heat pipes can generate more airflow that easily reduce the core temperature, ensuring smooth gaming performance.

Delta 15: All-New Portable Design
The brand-new modern style design MSI Delta 15 is one of the thinnest and lightest AMD gaming laptop, with only 19 mm slim and 1.9 kg lightweight, bringing lightweight gaming power for those on the move. The stylish Carbon Gray aluminium-built and sandblasted texture represents the aesthetic taste of design for gamers.

Powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX Mobile Processors and AMD Radeon RX6700M Mobile Graphics, Delta 15 balances both performance and portability. To fulfill diverse portability needs, the new battery design allows up to 12 hours* of use, providing uninterrupted productivity and entertainment.

Alpha 15/17: Built to Game
The Alpha 15/17 not only refreshes to the latest AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Mobile Processors and AMD Radeon RX6600M Mobile Graphics but also comes with a brand new chassis design. With a 5 mm thin-bezel display, independent number-pad, RGB backlit keyboard, and intuitive hotkey, it meets all the needs of gamers.

The all-new AMD Advantage Edition* gaming laptop not just bring the latest AMD powerful performance but also fulfill the various demand on the gaming market. From aesthetic portable design to gamer-centric design, the all-new Delta 15 and Alpha 15/17 aim to be the best gaming solutions.

This is a very welcome addition, it is a bit pathetic what webcameras they put on most gaming laptops, though. I am consistently finding more windows hello compatible webcams in clevo/whiteboard manufacturers than brand name laptops. IR camera sensors are quite cheap. They should have become standard stock even on cheap laptops long ago.

Gaming laptops with high end components always have to compromise on cooling.

12h on a slim gaming ontebook is very impressive.
I wonder what MSRP on these is.

Given that ASUS' G15 with 6800M is $1650, I hope it's reasonable.

compromise on cooling.
ASUS G15 checks have shown that the only compromise there was, was ASUS managing to cripple 6800m (which still fared formidably) by slower RAM.

Go over to bestbut and check the reviews on this model. It's appears to have lots of issues with the AMD 6800m. Either the gpu fails or overheating. It's getting pretty bad reviews.

Hence my point of compromised cooling.

Reviw by real buyer or paid troll? If real are they comparing Junction Temperature of AMD laptop with Egde Tempeture of Nvidia GPU. If yes then it is a invalid compairsion.

So zero reviewers had such issues, but online site where people can leave reports anonymously has.
How unusual...

Those reviewers only have the laptop for at best 3-4 days to test it out. And I only see less than a hand full of reviews of this model on YouTube
To leave any review comments on bestbuy you would have need to buy a item to leave a review.

I see lots of comments on the bad thermal paste job. It uses liquid metal for TIM.

Well, IF I do have to go to Thailand for extended stays, then I'd probably get an all AMD gaming laptop with an RX 6800M + R9 5900HX for my gaming fix while I'm there. Can't possibly bring my main rig + monitor there.....

There's issues with other ASUS laptops as well. I've had 3 TUF 15 FA506IV laptops in the past 12 months or so - and they keep failing. Ryzen 4800h, RTX 2060. No overheating as far as HWinfo can tell, but after a couple of months of use they sart throwing "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD" randomly when booting into windows, or just a black screen. After a while more the laptop will refuse to boot with the nvidia driver installed.

I said 3 laptops because the first two were replaced by ASUS under warranty, I'm currently on the 3rd - and last week this one has started to display DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION for 1-2 out of 10 bootups. Seems to be rather common issue according to forums... When this one fails I'm asking for my money back.

Too bad. This is the only performance laptop with a 90wh battery I could find... and I was quite happy with it (performance, temps, battery life, display, size and weight, keyboard layout, touchpad....)

Did it use liquid metal thermal compound for TIM

I have no idea, never bothered to take them apart since they are under warranty - but like I said, they don't overeat. Max CPU temp is 89C in turbo mode and 85 in standard (quiet mode). Max GPU temp I've seen is 78C and that's after a few hours of gaming. Something else is making these laptops fail...

Right.
And merely do things to laptops that some users don't do for years, if at all.

So you were saying?

Why would a sane person do that?
cool...
Bad GPU? We do have pretty much the same (chips) on desktops & it sure ain't bad there, looks like MSI cheaped out on the cooling necessary for it!
The laptop that I mentioned is Asus. The MSI laptops the OP mentioned are not out yet.
